what i could imagine is someone who died with a reputation of being an evil and a selfish person but deep inside cared so much about their friends but they had to do something selfish to save someone they died alone, a lot of years after their friend squad left that person and wished to spend their entire life with guilt and that friend group didnt even know about their death and that person just falls through a pit that leads to a void of eternal doom, darkness, and guilt with no way to escape and being alone, accepting that that's it already and theres nothing they could do while everyone else that misunderstood them rejoiced in the living world totally not a metaphor (?) of my entire life

I feel like I could actually drift away to this music, just dying and slowly fading as it continues to play on, which fits with my life being so impacted by games, the digitality of my life ending, I'm not tryna be deep (ok maybe a lil) but like, I genuinely feel a deep nostalgia and peace of mind with this song, as if it is part of me, and is the perfect way to go to sleep, it's one of those feelings that can't be explained with words, it just is one of those qualia of life (and in this case death). The game over music vibe mixed with the almost joyful main chordes, it orchestrates such an oddly powerful emotion. the simplicity of 8bit music could be considered as symbolic aswell, sometimes the simplest most basic parts of something is the most powerful, idk why but this music makes me remember playing games in my childhood, I'm nkt even old enough tl remember genuine 8bit games, but soda dungeon, and a couple other niche games come back to me with this, and terraria oddly, even Minecraft and my various moments with friends in minecraft through the years, it's such nice memories alongside this sense of sadness, like I'm saying goodbye, finally recognizing that I will forget some day, and now may be the last time I have those memories, because I truly do not know if it is or isn't, I can only hope that I can clean onto them a little longer without losing clarity.
