Love this review. Felt like I was watching a theatrical play. Amazing! I bought the cologne because the aventus was out of stock. I personally liked the cologne better. It felt a little less musky.

I just prefer the Cologne despite really appreciating Aventus. Aventus is something I’d love if it had the same notes balanced differently. The Cologne just makes sense as a fit in my collection

I love the Cologne, althought most people seems to dislike it. It has that really refreshing feeling with it, as if it is something you would splash instead of spraying. I have some good memories with it as well from summer 2019. If I only could keep one, I'd keep the original, but luckily I can own both.

I love the way you put this video together, I personally think this is the best review of this fragrance that I've seen thus far keep it up. You've just gained another subscriber.

I’ve just bought Virgin Island Water and it remains unopened. I took a sample in store and by the time I had gotten to the door it had gone - no trace of it whatsoever. I’m on my way to the store to change for Aventus and so thanks for your review. I just hope it has a longevity! 😉

The cologne version gives the same vibe and shares a lot of notes with Chanel allure homme sport, and is just as high quality, And in a way just reaffirms my opinion that that is a great Fragrance even over the much hyped extreme version it is a wonderful blend of the notes that still stand the test of time

The hand movements are givvvingg, I can visualise the scents fully, luv it 😆

it sucks that by making a good fragrances , backlash , hate and claims of overhype is majority of what the house gets back. everyone wants so badly to " unique " or different from the rest its kinda annoying because you can see it coming a mile away . Great and informative review ATH as always

On FRAG-MENTAL channel you are saying that creed aventus is SHEET but on here you are saying it’s fantastic and piece of art and amazing WTF ?

I do love the smell of Aventus but it costs so much. Unfortunately, it's massive success has hurt it's original uniqueness.

Both great, I like fresh so Aventus cologne for me plus it’s better suited for younger guys like mid 20’s up to late 30’s after that you have achieved Aventus original. Can’t imagine a skinny high schooler trying to pull off either of these colognes, you have to work your way up guys.

I just bought a bottle after debating for a while. I enjoy the scent, but can find it can be a little too much at times. Haven’t received a compliment wearing it. Not that I’m seeking them, but you hear all the time that it is a compliment killer. Anyways great review!

Hello, Aaron! My name's Artyom. I'm from Russia. It was very interesting to hear your thoughts on different perfumes on FM. Creed is one of my favourite perfume houses. I personally very much love Royal Oud and Original Vetiver. I would also love to hear your opinion on Roja Dove's Elysium. This one I smelled recently and immediately fell in love with.

I have two bottles of Creed Aventus that are 2020!!! I have almost had them for a year now!!!! When i first smelled them a year ago they were not as strong as they are now....I suppose they mast urate for this year...I think because creed was so popular they were not giving there bottles time to mast urate!!!!Making people think they were not as good...My 2020 Creed Aventus are beastly projecting...I spray one spray and its in my face....So i still love my Creed....

Just one thing though...is it your expertise as a perfumer that allows you to comment so specifically on the scent profile of the dry down and performance so soon after spraying it? Or is that aspect of the review to be taken simply as an opinion of what you expect the fragrance to develop into after a few hours?

I think aventus is harshly judged by the fact the dupes .. do aventus poorly. So it in itself becomes a ‘meh’ smell. But the quality, projection, longevity etc.. is phenomenal.

Nice! Def agree on how Aventus Cologne is way sharper than Aventus. Its more brash and look at me, I'm here to have a good time! They are similar but the openings are different. Aventus Cologne I find is Aventus with a Chanel Allure Homme Sport top opening.

Creed unfortunately has a lot of batch consistency issues, but I still like Aventus. Love your review. 🦄

So I've thought it everytime I watch your offerings. You resemble in a way I havent figured out yet, Sir George Michael. A compliment for sure as he was a beautiful man and a great talent to the world. BTW great idea filming to the negative black background. It pairs well with your voice tone adding a sence of serious urgence. As for the review, I second the opinions here about your narrative skills. What an authentic fragrance review

ATH did you mention ambergris as an ingredient? I’ve heard that Creed uses ambergris in almost all their product line. The reason I ask is that I took receipt of a bottle of creed the day before yesterday, applied it and all I could smell was PineSol (a cleaning product). I could to detect no other smells at all, no floral, no citrus and the fragrance was very linear. At the three hour mark mark I found the fragrance be very cloying. I even got a headache. The week before I received a bottle of green Irish tweed from a different supplier and it had the same Pinesol scent. I don’t know if my nose is reacting to the ambergris or the mask that you mentioned. What do you think?
