Congratulations. At the time of writing this comment, I'm 35 and I found out in February that I have a brain tumor. I've been going through treatment and fighting my absolute hardest. At first I was told the tumor was malignant and couldn't be beaten. I was told that without treatment I had about 13 months at most before it took my life; and with treatment I had 2-3 years at most. Then 2 weeks before I finished my first round of chemo, and completed radiation treatment (4 weeks), I was told by my doctors that somehow my tumor had shrunk exponentially. As a result, they predicted that I have 5-10 years worst case scenario, and best case scenario they believe that I can win this fight and beat this tumor. Creed has been my favorite band ever since the first time I heard Higher in '99 or 2000. And their music has helped me through some on my hardest times; just like how it continues to help me push forward right now and never give up.

My husband just got told that the tumors in his lungs are no longer showing signs of growth and actually have shrank. Congratulations!! Cancer is no easy battle. My prayers and thoughts are with anyone affected by that monster! And if you’re reading this and you’re currently fighting that battle, just know you’re not alone and someone you don’t even know is in your corner. Nobody should ever have to go through that alone.

I know it sounds weird to say this, but Creed was the best concert I've ever been to! I saw them live with my mom (RIP) back during the 2012 Human Clay tour, I'm telling you, these guys had that crowd more hyped than any other bands I've seen at that venue. Creed sounded exactly like the album, Scott's vocals were freaking perfect, everyone was killing it. I will cherish that memory forever because my mom was with me, she passed away in January of 2018 and she was my best friend. Her name was Kim and she was 56yo when she passed away, she was a beautiful soul and she made me who I am. RIP Mom, I love you and I miss you very much. 🙏❤

Feels like forever Within my heart are memories Of perfect love that you gave to me Oh I remember When you are with me, I'm free I'm careless, I believe Above all the others we'll fly This brings tears to my eyes My sacrifice We've seen our share of ups and downs Oh how quickly life can turn around In an instant It feels so good to reunite Within yourself and within your mind Let's find peace there 'Cause when you are with me, I'm free I'm careless, I believe Above all the others we'll fly This brings tears to my eyes My sacrifice I just want to say hello again I just want to say hello again 'Cause when you are with me, I'm free I'm careless, I believe Above all the others we'll fly This brings tears to my eyes 'Cause when you are with me, I'm free I'm careless, I believe Above all the others we'll fly This brings tears to my eyes My sacrifice My sacrifice (I just want to say hello again) I just want to say hello again My sacrifice

My brother was in and out of the hospital and this song was a comfort for me during a hard time. RIP "Itchy" Rich, we had lots of good times and for the bad times I have Creed. We'd go on multiple trips to the clinic a week and the whole way we were just blaring creed brother. towards the end I could tell Rich was becoming less fond of Creed so I had to tone it down a bit but man were there some good times. Creed made me see life through a different lens and helped me understand it in a deeper way. I just hope it did the same for you bro

@redronin917 жыл бұрын
Creed is no longer a band. Scott Stapp(singer) and Mark Tremonti(Guitarist) had "creative differences" but, I just assume it has to do with Scott Stapp's addiction to drugs supported by the fact that he was essentially penniless in 2014. Tremonti is still heavily focused on his solo stuff and Alter Bridge(Check them out) so, he isn't planning on reuniting with Stapp to resurrect Creed in the near future. Evidently they haven't even been close friends for a while now.

A showcasing of what a relationship with God is truly like… Being separated and set apart in a life boat… The flood represents the pool of sin and self destruction… Notice the monks are rowing their boats in the wrong direction… Notice he has the option to row but he does not… he trusts in God with all his heart and allows the boat to steer its self… Notice the temptations and indoctrinations to get him back into the water… Notice he has to pull himself out of the water and back into the boat…. Representing he falls short, but resists…. And repents… Notice that there are lizard people swimming backwards… the occult… Notice traps and snares… The youth struggling to stay out of the water… The one kid doing a cannon ball and splashing his friends with the water…. That kids fall from grace had impacts on his friends in that splash…. Notice he says… CARELESS not careful…. Careless and free…. As he’s not even rowing the boat… He lets everything roll off his shoulders…. And pass him by… Notice the scene shifts to the storm…. The storm represents the trials and tribulations of life… The woman resisting to inspire the child… The child hiding under a car… This all summarized the entire meaning of what it means to be a Christian… Not for your own glory… Not for your own reputation, image, ego, comfort, and pride… But to put faith and glory unto God… To completely give up and surrender…. To completely accept, grieve, and let go…. To live in humility and forgiveness…

As a child (4/5 years old) My mother had the video CD of their greatest hits in the drawer below her tv, She was always working and my brothers and I were always home alone, we used to play this music and became obsessed with it, I didn’t know how to speak English, Now as and adult I come back and listen to these songs after everything we went through as brothers this always brings me back to those times were it was just us three in the house being kids having to look out for each other. Creed will forever hold a place in my childhood vault. They were worldwide with it, I was raised in Guatemala and everyone knew about them.

I’m glad the lead singer got himself together and is doing great now. This band had so much promise.

@@derrickconnor1303 alterbridge is infinitely better than Creed. Scott Stapp isn’t even the best singer in creed. Mark Tremonti is a better vocalist.

@@jasonpeters3122 2 different bands with 3/4 of the same members who are equally good in their own ways and sound different to eaxh other. Not easy when 3 members are in both bands. Both are great.
