#ItAintMe
Some folks are born made to wave the flag
Ooh, they're red, white and blue
And when the band plays "Hail to the chief"
Ooh, they point the cannon at you, Lord
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no senator's son, son
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no fortunate one, no
Some folks are born silver spoon in hand
Lord, don't they help themselves, oh
But when the taxman comes to the door
Lord, the house looks like a rummage sale, yes
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no millionaire's son, no
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no fortunate one, no
Some folks inherit star spangled eyes
Ooh, they send you down to war, Lord
And when you ask them, "How much should we give?"
Ooh, they only answer "More! More! More!" yoh
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no military son, son
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no fortunate one, one
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no fortunate one, no no no
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no fortunate son, no no no

Color of Money State of Address made in USA Going around in circles ( circuits ), chasing after one another for the color of money, taking chances or welfare through inter-connecting passages , crossroads and Windows (MSN) trying to control the animal in one, from the pit of debt of desire, an emotions in the matrix. $ Dollar, Dollar Bills Pressing the economics further, less than rich is most in debt, an the back bone of the rich, and the flesh and blood for the animal, All in the name of what, property values. The color of money makes people go wild an adds to its fire. Let me give it to you in other terms, terms you can understand. They cut it like Bolvin coca, Afghani opium and Libyan oil, cut like silver and gold. Lords that have strings tied to the money, an every dollar in its web, hooking the foolish fish in the sea into its financial threshold. Bending indexes, the color of money, dollars, dollar bills and currencies on a spectrum in a temple dimension, attracting interest . A twenty/eighty cut is knot well/fare, it cuts like a knife, a double edge sword, it gives with one and takes with two, we want face value, the whole in one, par , one over one, knot promises or the color of money, that s blinding you. " O say can you see," ... the twilight... Blind and color blind? So cover your eyes, and listen," and listen to your sub conscious . Its a figment of your imagination that's running wild like a bull, a shift to red , so let me give you the 20/20, the whole 9/1/1 doppler tax free fix, in the city that never sleeps. Its supply and demand. They build it up and take them down , and the penny is losing one for everyone made. The nickel cant hold its weight , but its losing, an its face value is deceiving the public eye, so save what you can . They cant afford it or don't have it to give away, nor can they make anymore, Its coming from the blood that is spilling from the holes in ones pocket and clothing, and the bodies that are falling. Desire is working ten times harder for ten times less and buying things ten times over exhausting its horns and pleasures. At the end of the sale, and day , after all the hands have taken a pinch out of the dollar , dollar bill, one is paying with the bottom dollar, and by the time it gets home to its family, its taxed for the waste, so save what you can. Either way I, the self, put it , between the differences , it gives one the sum of the hole, the color of money and the same sum and truth ,the wholesumtruth. Now that the money can be made at home , it does not give one the right to cut it out of a sheet of metal and stamp it with a dye, or (DIO ?), " O, Alice, your the Greatest ", its de-facing the value . " Its not what your country can do for you , but what you can do for your country." " We the people", put our trust in the government, ( each other), to provide honest scales and due process, but those who aren't themselves are favoring one side, one side of the scale, the dark side, even though the wind is not for sale, it gives one direction and shows the way , an only a fool doesn't pay attention to signs, lining its pockets , the holes in its clothing with the blood on its hands. Those who live by it , live by the dollar , dollar bill , fall by it, and those who trust in it, give its power and right over their lives, ( soul) . " O, say can you see" The only one who cares for a title, is lost and needs to be found, an in need of a personality, the individual, and needed to be served with love and sincerity. The servant , common worker, the confidence and capital from whom has a title paid for, is free of, and develops its independence from a co-dependent sovereign and shadow government. " O say, can you see"... the twilight... They promise them heaven, a spot in the light an all they can eat, and give them hell for it, leaving them to the wicked , emotional trials and shadows , silhouettes that have no eyes , but still can see. So ," Take down these walls". " Four score and seven" We were given stripes , color and life , light for a conscious , a lamp of knowledge (law) , a guiding light, and land to harvest. The brave to boycott, pro/test, protest in writing; Declare Independence, and reveal the truth and reap what's sowed. Fear not, fear only one-self , "we are not left to live under ourselves " , we have been brought to consciousness , life, and Yahweh ( Jah e vah ) (יהוה ) . Compose yourselves, bring yourselves together, because no matter how much one celebrates it will not raise the dead, nor bring back those who have passed, and neither free one from the misery and trial its been living. " O , say can you see..." " The fault is not in the stars , but in ourselves." made in usa

It's because it's still an issue. The rich pay no taxes and use people as cannon fodder in wars to enrich themselves. The military industrial complex has this country since the civil war, but you could make a case for the revolution being rich "founding fathers" getting others to fight a war for them so they wouldn't pay taxes. Whipping the common man into a frenzy so they can die so that you can have "a little more". I still remember when a republican kid said, "I used to listen to your music, but I can't listen to you guys (rage against the machine) but I can't listen because your message has changed." And they answered him, "what machine did you think we were raging against?" The only thing which has never changed is that there will always be idiots who are willing to throw away their lives so that rich politicians get fat. Every president during that Era ran on a platform to remove us from Vietnam. Strange that it continued for over 20 years. Same as Iraq, Afghanistan, now Ukraine. Etc, Etc... and the machine continues to grind.

It is horrifying that 54 years later this song is still relevant. After 20 years of sending our sons and daughters to war, wasting blood and treasure. We still live in a country that wastes the lives of young poor people. So that rich people can have their wars.

Even though it was a couple of decades before I was born, the Vietnam war was unjustified based on what I've read about it. It was almost like the Americans didn't know what they were afraid of. Don't get me wrong, war is a horrible thing. However, as a Brit I know that military intervention has been required in some circumstances over the years, whether it be us going all in against the Germans to protect our skies in 1942 or, more recently, us merely supplying the Ukrainians with tanks in 2022 to help them fend off the Russians. Whether it's active, like my first historical example, or passive, like my second, no military intervention is pleasant by any means. It's just countries doing what needs to be done in the name of national security, and let me here say that, from what I've read about the Vietnam war, it was actually the Vietnamese who were the good guys. America brought that shit on themselves.

Several years ago I was teaching The Great Gatsby in a high school English class, and a student asked me why Tom Buchanan didn't go to WWI when Gatsby did. When I said, "Traditionally the rich don't go to war," several students were flabbergasted. When I explained the many ways the rich could easily get out of the draft when the poor could not...well, it was a light bulb moment.

That certainly wasn't the case on the front line, especially from the UK. The nobility had a strong military history, still do, with the sons of even the monarch serving in the armed forces. The upper class lost proportionately far more sons in WWI, both with the military service tradition, and the fact that mainly as officers they would be the first to lead the "charge".

My parents had just dropped me off at summer camp and I was sad and scared.luckily my camp counselor was there to make it better. I still remember when I was in the room and the movie monster was playing in the back ground and that one Seen came on and we both looked at each other and she said to me as she kneeled down and said………….. 😮

In my youth, this song was one of the no. 1 soundtracks for me and my gang. I'm 62 now, and still fascinated about the power of this (and many other songs by the great bands of the 1970ies...). Few days ago, I listened to some of the old records, and my little son (he is 15 years old...) came to me and asked what damn cool music it is. Since then he is an absolutely CCR fan, and now every day we are rockin the old, unbeatable, best music that was ever made - great little son....

I'm from the Bay Area and moved to Florida 2 years ago. Bucket list of things to do before I left was visit the Fogerty childhood home. So I lived in Berkeley, it was in El Cerrito (neighboring cities). But the Bay Area can be VERY VERY hilly. Anywho, was a warm day and I was following my maps and I stopped and sat on the curb. A guy said you don't look great can I get you a glass of water. I said sure. We chatted, he was a vet, and it turns out he was in Fogerty's high school class. Remember that day fondly.

Children (teenagers and young adults) of the 70s keep the spirit of the music alive! Here’s how I do it. I run a summer outdoor day camp for children with a staff of teenagers and young adults. I’m 70 well 68 but 70 is to remember and you at that age longer. Whatever as the kids say. Every Thursday at the Talent Show at 2:00 pm I introduce them all to a band from the 70s. Pick a band and play one or two minute (that’s the limit of attention spans) passages of 3-5 songs. I grab and swing the microphone and impersonate Roger Daltrey. They all start laughing. Some of the staff told me that they have downloaded a particular band on their phones. Mission accomplished. Keep the music alive! This makes me very happy.

Your comment is far from accurate, regarding US government officials in high offices, "leading" private citizen sons & daughters into war, with the exception being their own children. That's a ludicrous insinuation. Many numerous politicians, including Presidents, have served Military duty for this country, as well as their sons. And, they've served active combat wartime duty. Do your homework. And, yes, they were wealthy, so step down from that soapbox. The draft ended decades ago. Sons & daughters serving US Military duty today, do so by choice. They are the bravest of selfless Patriotic Americans. Protecting the freedoms of ungrateful propagandists, who sling such insults against them. Like you. And you reference "governments". Meaning all governments. So yes, communist governments do lead sons & daughters into deadly situations. Think kamikaze. Communist governments order every single person's life. The US does not. And what did you suggest? Oh yes, to do away with government, so to speak. You suggest to "stand up against" and do away with war, and wars. Are you that ill informed? From the beginning of time, man has raged war. On nearly every place on Earth. How do you think it was done? To conquer and rule. Possess. Win lands. Man has violently fought man, to overtake & gain possession & control.1000 years of documented history. Study the lineage of Queen Elizabeth II. Amazing history lesson. And, Vietnam had a purpose. It was simply not a war to be won. Our soldiers were not trained to Guerrilla warfare. Nor were they jungle savvy. Nor were they prepared for the Vietcong irregular forces instead of regular military. It was all much more complicated than a Creedence Clearwater song. The Vietnam War raged from 1954 to 1975!!! We were an ally of South Vietnam. It was an attempt by the US to prevent the spread of communism. Most Americans our age, think of an 8 year war. And the rest, is history. And Creedence Clearwater songs. 😊. However, I have no short comment to such a sad lack of education. So I just encourage you to study. How dare folks insult soldiers, who risked lives back then, & still today, risk their lives for YOU! That includes wealthy politicians. And includes wealthy families, with generations of Soldiers. Our select politicians were captured and tortured. But they never left their men behind. And they could have, as high ranking officers. But they refused to be released, & instead, chose to stay & comfort & lead their men while captured. Read about those wealthy government politicians.Your complaining self is free, because of fighting soldiers. Get a grip. You hear a song, & go stupid. What an insult to every heroic American. And their suffering. Put money where your mouth is, & help a Veteran. Advocate for the government to heavily fund our Military, and to more heavily fund Veteran programs. Those are two things that our government needs to increase. Military & Veteran funding. US citizen funding. Before foreign illegals. Yes, the current administration is lacking government leadership.I admit that. But I stand by my defense, as mentioned above. God bless America!!!!
