Brad nails another one. This song is the progression of 50's rock-n-roll as, at the time CCR did this song, the 50's was only a few years previous. It still resonated with listeners of the 60's and early 70's. Unlike today if a band were to come out with that sound most audiences would be looking at the band like they had just landed on a space ship from MARS.

This has a hint of Little Richard, especially with the scream leading into the guitar solos. Check out LR’s Good Golly Miss Molly, then listen to CCR’s swampy cover of it. It’s a banger for sure.

Yes, it's an homage to Little Richard. My dad TOM FOGERTY and my Uncle JOHN FOGERTY and the whole band loved Little Richard, they learned how to play copying him growing up. JEFF FOGERTY

Great Reaction you two! So glad you can feel the vibe we lived in and your appreciation for that time when rock ‘n roll changed the dynamic of a new culture! Those were the days, as I bought the Cosmos Factory album in 1970 (9th grade) and been a fan ever since!

To me one of their best!! Big fan since the start in 68 with Suzie Q.Still my favorite group of all time. John is still performing mid 70s. Has to be good!! There would be a revolution if they weren't in Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.

CCR is definitely a vibe. Nobody comes close to their sound. I HIGHLY recommend watching John Fogerty performing Bad Moon Rising and Fortunate Son at Howard Stern's 2014 Birthday Bash. (search it on KZfaq). Amazing performance!

Awesome song. I had a band that we started 20 years ago. We practiced twice, learned this song, got it tight. And then the other guitarist (tone deaf, but owned all the sound equipt.) wanted to be the singer, and that was the end of our band. I can impersonate a lot of the gravely voiced classic rock singers like Fogerty, Rod Stewart, Joe Cocker, and Bob Seger.

I've always felt alone in how much impact this song has to rock n roll till these reactions video's started coming out. I remember how felt when this song hit the radio. Now it's so easy to get the message out. And she is sooooo adorable ❤❤❤

John Fogerty tours regularly. You guys should keep an eye out. He basically was CCR. Wrote and arranged the songs, sang and played lea guitar.

This song (of all of their songs) was for a while when it was current my favorite song and thus also my favorite Credence song!! God I loved it! These days I do not claim a favorite Credence song (or an overall favorite) because it's completely impossible to choose 🙂. Glad you guys liked it, too. My Dad knew this was my jam, so he bought me my first-ever own record, Cosmo's Factory, which has this song on it, and so many other great ones.

Can anyone imagine these guys from El Cerrito used to sing on the street in front of Woolworth (Opposite The Emporium) where the Cable Cars start and than went four blocks away to the Union Square and sang there than short time later were singing on National TV from the Regency which is about 10 blocks from the Union Square?

Before I even listen to your reaction, I want to say I'm leaving a like in anticipation. My elder brother introduced me to CCR when he was about 16, and I was about 8. This was my favorite song of their's from the Cosmo's Factory album. Can't wait to watch you guys react to it! Peace!

For a few songs that are less common from CCR try " It Came Out of the Sky" pure rock and roll perfection, or for more instrumental stuff try "Ramble Tamble" and maybe some of their old stuff like "Cotton Fields"

My God you guys crack me up. And yeah man I love CCR so much! I like every one of their songs literally. And they're one of those bands where almost all of their songs are about something other than a romantic attachment. That is exactly the reverse of almost every band. They're just all across the map and fantastic but they all have that CCR sound to them and I agree there's always at least a little bit of swamp somewhere in there. I would totally kill to see you guys react to their song, it came out of the sky. It's a total Banger and the lyrics are hilarious for the time but I would definitely get a lyric video cuz after all it's John Fogerty and they're making so many references that make sense back then like to the White House and to the Pope and Jody is just as poor farmer that lives in the middle of nowhere when this meteor or whatever the hell it is comes flying out of the sky and smashes into his farm field. It's just a banger for sure.
