I was there and it was just epic. We did not know in the audience which Dave he was talking about at all… Many of us thought it was David Lee Roth because they have performed together, but Dave Chapelle was in town and basically took the house down. As soon as the Foo Fighters started to play a few chords the crowd went nuts… Whether he has a good voice or not has absolutely nothing to do with this…. It was all about having a good time, being all together once again, all 25,000 of us… Singing our asses off… In fact we really didn’t even hear Dave Chapelle sing that much because every single person at MSG was screaming the same song. The concert was all about rocking, unity, moving forward, and putting Covid behind us… I am so blessed I was able to experience it, I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. And for the record Dave and the Foo Fighters absolutely put their heart into every single song and then some. Dave Chapelle singing creep was just another memorable moment in an unforgettable concert.

@Andrew Peterson I said "note for note", which he did with his "limited range". The point is that he cared enough to not skip the notes he couldn't hit. Instead he transposed them to another octave. That shows consideration for the integrity of the melody construction with serious attention to detail.

Chris Cornell surprised me with kind of whispering the lyrics to killing in the name of when audioslave toured. Quite different from Zac , but worked fine. Still felt sinister and angry.

Always something special at a Foo Fighters show. There was a kid at the show I saw in SD that got up on stage and mooned the crowd and jumped off the stage and tried to skank off. We’ll not so fast. Dave had him come back up on stage and said to him is that all you got?! The kid was not ready for what was about to come at all. Next thing you know Dave has the entire crown chanting WHIP IT OUT WHIP IT OUT!!! So with a drum roll the kid did. Lol! Such a great sense of humor. That kid is an adult now and I’m sure will never forget that day for as long as he lives. All in good fun. One of the greatest bands of all time! 😂
