@@rcchristian2 I'm sorry but I don't agree, I really don't like that version at all. I feel it's the wrong song for that era/genre of music. I think because there was no vulnerability to it, which the song needs, like Janet's has. Janet's version has a tone of pain, of personal troubles, almost of an unsung mention of a darkness within that makes you not always want to be yourself. Janet's version, I feel, will be more resonant within people.

its crazy how I come back to this from time to time and the instant you start singing I am sucked into your story, your moment, your voice. you make me feel those lyrics while the world around stops for a moment and all there is, is you making me believe you. this feels honest to the core and the way you involve and suck me into it is almost scary.
