First time I watched Creepshow 2 after moving to Maine from Canada in 1999 I almost shit my pants!!! 😂 I lived up the hill and around the corner from that Reny's in Dexter!

I worked as a paramedic insecurities on serval of Stephen King's movies including this one and the shots at the Edythe Dyer Library took place in a couple locations but one was in front and down over the hill as you go to the retirement community and the car we shook the car and literally were holding and moving branches from the front of the car to the back to simulate the car moving while The Hitchhiker was on top. A lot of fun and some great memories so thank you for sharing

Small correction from a Bangor local to the shot at 11:40. That shot is the intersection of State St and Exchange St. In the film there is a car turning right onto State St which in real life is a one way.

Awesome video to show our local filming locations for the film! BTW, Hampden is pronounced with the "P" silent, as "Hamden."

Those lamp posts in Dexter were gifted to Dexter for allowing them to film there.

Mainer here and I wish they would film more movies set in Maine here. I've heard it's too expensive to film here.

That opening was almost straight out of the movie. You were talking about how scared you were as a kid & it looked at first like The Creep himself(voiced by Tom Savini👺) was coming to deliver a package/the 1st issue of Thanks for the ride Billy😂

Damn, lived in Corinth my whole life and been through Dexter plenty of times. Never would have guessed that a horror movie did some filming there of all places.

If I remember correctly,the Exit was fairly new at the time-construction had just ended........You`ve gotta be either a transplant or from Southern Maine(aka Northern MASS),because NO ONE from around here pronounces Hampden like Hampton--@18:15 and @27:27.....it`s "ham-den",not "hamp-ton"........
@wjd32923 күн бұрын
@@stephenmcgraw8871 😆 this is hilarious. Nah man. I’ve lived in Maine my whole life. Born and raised on the midcoast. Sorry my pronunciation of your towns name was the biggest thing you took from this video. I’ll try to do better.

you literally don't know what literally means, and/or is used for as a word. as you were literally walking down the road literally holding your camera. see how literally isn't meat for simple things everyday mistakes ..look it up you will feel and sound smarter lol.

Interesting critique. 32 minute video and that’s what you took from it? Lol I didn’t notice that I said the word literally at all in the entire video, but thanks for the feedback! I’ll do better.
