CreepyMcPasta I don't know if you'll read this but bro I want to thank you. I'm a recovering adict and I'm sober for over 6 mouths now. I had a lot of troubles to go to sleep. I forgot how to fall a sleep because of the many years of using. But every night I put a creepy pasta while in bed and after it I can sleep. It helps me so much. And there for I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Other channels dont calm me down because in the way they talk. But you are unique so keep doing what you are doing. It has been rough staying sober but you made it easyer.

Smiles are an excellent creepy story trope. They should represent affection, joy and peace, but in the wrong context and when stretched so wide they seem to split the face and make the eyes bulge...terrifying!

I think the trope has been done to death... 4 years ago at that... you must be new. However hokey the 'smile too large for it's face/unnaturally large smile as it turned it's head' trope may be, this story blew me away. So it can be used correctly, mainly in this story because there was more substance than ' a thing smiled and it was spoopy ' . This story did horror well, despite the predictable title.

I was expecting more of the same, but this is the first decent pasta I've heard in a long time. It seems like it'll be the cliche smiling ghost but little things made this pasta unique and added to a realistic sense of horror in that everyone, not just the narrator, is scared. Other things like the adults taking the narrator seriously, the non-white pov, no stupid decisions being made unless forced (work), and moving out solving the problem made the story more realistic, immersive and scary in that it didn't make me struggle to suspend my disbelief too much.

A well executed story. Damm it’s so hard to find stories like this; ones that actually make your skin crawl. I’ve only ever come across maybe 5 in my lifetime (16, listening for 5 years (mathematically once a year I find a genuine creepypasta ): )) that have genuinely made me crawl, this is one of them.

it sounds like mr wedemouth.. it should have been more appropriate n scary if you have made the attempt of putting up grunty beastly the voice effect ..
