Creepy Bottom/ Detroit River Video Footage/Under Ambassador Bridge

Have you ever wondered what is at the bottom of the Detroit River? This is the video footage of what we discovered doing just that under the Ambassador Bridge on the Rivers bottom today May 10th, 2021. Warning it's creepy! If you notice something odd or if you're just creeped out from what you've seen let us know?

Good walleye fishing. Dangerous currents in that river/graveyard. Purple gang be like "ahhhh, I remember dropping Benny Goldstein in there ..."

One of my good friends used to work for the police and be a research and rescue guy..not sure of title, but, he would dive down looking for deceased bodies. He said, the things you would see would give you nightmares. Also, a good friend of mine's brother in law, was one of the 5 workers that fell off the bridge. It has been quite a few years since that happened and they never recovered his body. The guy had to be a pretty extraordinary guy when he was alive, because, he had been in a relationship with my good friend's sister and she had 6 children and this guy that lost his life on that windy day, was accepting of her and all her kids.

The water is cleaner than I thought it would be I mean it’s not crystal clear, but it’s cleaner than I thought it would be considering it’s next to a major city

We used to swim right under the bridge back in the early 80's on the Detroit side. Sometimes get pulled by the current and have to get out down by the mailboat/coastguard inlet.

Just remember all the old photographs of people swimming in the Detroit River or driving across it in the winter on the ice was because that was before they dug the Livingston canal, so all that talk about how much balls your grandfather had for doing that goes out the window the Livingston Canal increased the current of the Detroit River by almost 3 times what it was

Growing up I hung out on the Detroit River a lot. Fishing and boating. I always wondered what one would find on the river bottom if we were to drain the river. For some reason I thought there would be a lot of dead bodies and bottles of booze! And guns!

The answer to your question is yes there is a lot of garbage down on the riverbed and stuff we haven't discovered yet.

Was fishing up at the belle isle bridge a couple of days ago. They are doing some work on it and I watched them jack hammer chunks of concrete off and fall in the river. I figured they would’ve had something in place to catch it. They clearly didn’t

Much better than before now, River rouge is better too. Still a lot of PFAS, dioxins..... but fishes are eatable in small amount.

My Mother & her coworker used to fish near the where the Wilson Park in being built. That was back in the '40's & '50's while working for New York Central. I'm glad to see fish. The music was a bit TOO MUCH. 🎶👎🏻🎼

Very erire! Other wordly. I was thinking, what becomes of the Ambassador bridge, when the new bridge is active? Many think it will be the end of the old bridge. I hope not. Having alternative ways to travel between Detroit and Windsor seems wise. Having three possibilities seems like a good idea. Upgrading the Ambassador bridge seems like a worthy plan.

@@muckfoot-4093 Nope, we used to swim there directly under the bridge. There were old wooden dock pilings, no sunken boat or ship.

c'mon, I have a hard time believing this footage. Although the river current is somewhat what I would expect, I am a doubter. How did you dive under the Bridge without being chased away by LEO? and where is all of the garbage that I would expect to see on the river bed?
