Wow is this The Haunting of Hill House and The Brain That Wouldn't Die? I read something about how once films are over 75 years old they fall into the public domain - is this why we're allowed to watch them all the way through without getting booted by the copyright spooks? I might just chill and watch the whole thing This is such a cool idea, I don't think I've ever seen a haunted cinema before. I like how things are screaming before the projector has even started..

Thank you. Yep, those are the two movies. Watch out if you decide to make a video using them though! The movies themselves may well be in the public domain however the soundtracks that accompany them do not necessarily apply. I found out the hard way, spent hours clipping out tiny sections of the movie to remove offending musical parts 😥 You can watch them for sure though for free, no problem at all. I cannot take credit for the screaming as that is in the movie itself but definitely why I chose that film first 😉

another interesting one. you're definitely thinking outside the box with these videos. keep it up. a suggestion you might try that I haven't found anywhere so far: in assassin's creed origins, if you walk around the desert long enough, you start hallucinating from heat stroke, hearing singing and whispers, seeing mirages and whatnot. it's a specific vibe. I feel like there's something there that would fit in this channel well. cheers friend.

I´d love to do more like this, its very difficult though as its almost impossible to find out of copyright movies otherwise YT just blocks it. And every time I upload anything like this I still get a bunch of copyright flags that I have to dispute. Bit of a nightmare. Been thinking of trying one with a theatre instead of films. Id really love to a bunch but its out of my hands I'm afraid.

Ah KZfaq... yes I completely understand my friend, no worries. I was going to suggest movies like Attack of The Killer Tomatoes, The Blob, Some Zombie movies etc but I understand how KZfaq can be a pain, it is a struggle. Nonetheless you have excellent talent. 👌

Watched The Skull last week and planning on watching The Creeping Flesh again as soon as I get a min. There was another one I used to love, it was on a train with some monster in a cargo box, going to have to figure out the name 😊

@@darkambience I know it's been a while but I was playing this video again recently, and I'd like to make a similar video just for myself with a drive-in movie scenario and a different movie, but I don't know what software to use to create something like this. Can you lead me in the right direction? Thanks!

@@eduardo_corrochio yeah sure, I use Gimp (which is a free Photoshop basically) and Davinci Resolve which is a video editing suite. There is a free version of Resolve too that has pretty much all of the features that you will need. Hope that helps.

Thanks again, I use a bunch of different audio software. The main things are Propellerhead Reason 10, Cubase (although less and less these days) loads of VST plugins and also the audio editor that is included inside Davinci Resolve, as you can load VST plugin effects direct in there too. Hope that helps

Maybe, its very tricky to make them because of the movie copyright. I actually had another movie one already that got blocked due to copywrite. Even if I select movies that im 100% sure the copywrite has expired, if a movie company decides then to release a DVD or BluRay of that movie again they copywrite strike my channel although I know I've done nothing wrong. Me being a one person show with a tiny channel I have zero chance at fighting back so its always going to be a risk. Do I spend 30 to 100 hours making a video only to get it nuked? This is the dilemma.
