Use a real prototype. The real prototype is available on TCRF. You can tell that itd the final sonic 1 build, since it uses "RINGS" instead of "RING" for the Rings hud.

Actually there is lost media of A 1990 version of sonic. It was introduced in the Tokyo Toy Show in japan.

@@Hehehehar0in APRIL 1990. Sonic was in development in APRIL 1990, not JANUARY 1990. and also, this looks too finished to even be a very early prototype.
