8:50 I did the calcs, and my gosh, that Armaldo needs to've hit a really high roll with max attack to kill from that range! Either that, or your Kyogre had some preeetty bad defense investment...

I feel like, literally, investment is the thing they didn't do. A full team of legendaries with unorthodox movesets that don't support a strategy other than strength and seemingly little EV training isn't fun to watch.
