Or any respected biblical scholar. These prosperity preachers are on an island, all alone. Some of them have been to seminary....that's where I know that they are just ignoring what they learned in school. Seminaries are very heavy on correct biblical interpretation.

I grew up in da A. My home boi wanted to get saved he went up to the alter when creglo Open the door of the church open and after he stated he wanted to joined, he was led in the back asked about his credit and jobs mine you man we were teens and once he asked to meet the pastor they said no. He asked why they removed him. Literally security removed him. They have never been bout shid but money. Oh and btw Eddie long church had a effn ATM in it.

He called my name and said you are all sinners, I am love. Keep studying my word. So I feel okay about it. That’s me. I promise since I started listening God has taken over!! I needed that. Some do not preach about prosperity but they live it and look for it, so why criticize those who do preach it? Those who preach about prosperity are openly expressing what they believe and what they live, however there are others who do not and they like to live prosperous but condemn those who talk about it. I went to see him in conference in California from Oklahoma I was so disappointed he only wanted money and talking in tongues is a gitf from God,we were taken to another room mumble the way they, showed you, and do this way at home and you will talk in tongues, God gave me that gift and not the way they showed ppl, I was scared at first but its wonderful to talk in tongues too God.

Most of the people saying that either have never read the Bible or they are just religious indoctrinated. So many people base their beliefs on what they heard at Church or from their parents,Grandparents, etc. I know people who also think that God wants them not only poor but sick. Hopefully some will actually study the word for themselves and allow God to reveal a new revelation to them, called truth. It's no wonder we so many people suffer in the world today.

It’s pretty simple. Creflo used the church and manipulated his teachings in order to get rich. He uses the -prosperity- greed gospel to justify his purchases, and the congregation flocks to him because they want a piece. They turn a blind eye to his heresy and hypocrisy in hopes of getting rich too.

When one of the ministers said, "I can think of no reputable biblical scholar who would support that point", Creflo should've given up. If all (or the majority of) biblical scholars say one thing, and you're the odd man out, then...... :) These are people who have spent their lives studying scripture. These are experts in Greek and Hebrew, the culture of biblical times, and the method of biblical interpretation. Creflo has been to seminary, so there's no excuse. It's NOT a "difference of opinion," dude. People don't spend years in school learning opinions. Regardless of the field, every pro has moments when he/she has to fall back on their education....so they don't go off the deep end with ideas that will get them laughed out of the profession. Sometimes it's the objective data that keeps you grounded.

Things like the prosperity gospel an other bogus stuff in the American church today Is one of the main reasons why many Evangelicals are joining more Traditional Liturgical Churches particularly the Eastern Orthodox Church where the essentials of the Christian faith in Scripture are upheld and everyone is under Authority even if you are a Archbishop or Patriarch.
