Creighton was 0-6 vs #1 teams too which was surprising. I know they've only been in a major conference for 9 years now but they've been one of the best teams in the Big East basically that entire time so figured they would come across a number 1 team and beat them at some point before now.

I was at this game, and I may have been in the second deck, but the energy at this game was incredible. Not many people thought we were going to win let alone blow them out, but I am extremely proud to be a Creighton fan right now. The audio on TV doesn’t do justice to how loud and crazy the crowd was. Creighton fans usually don’t get that roudy at games but today it was incredible. The greatest crowd I’ve ever seen at a Creighton fan and the players really feed off of it. LETS GO JAYS!

Old man moment. I remember the terrible 2008 UK team beating #3 UT at home and none of us even thought about storming the court. That year, that win literally was that team's "super bowl moment" but we had enough respect for the program that we didn't act like it. Now, it seems like almost every team does it when beating a top 10 team.

Watch out for Creighton in the tournament. They could easily get hot again like last year. I really like this roster, the media and the critics often say they aren’t deep and they’re just a “Big 3” roster… but I’ve seen every single game this year and let me tell you, the other players are far from scrubs. I think they got a good 5-6 other players that can play a good role and be very productive on any given night. (Ashworth, Farabello, Miller, Green, Traudt, and King). Some of these guys haven’t gotten the playing time that your average role/bench player would get, mainly because of the production of the top 6 players in terms of minutes, but when they’ve gotten in, they have shown they are more than capable. If this comment somehow reaches you while you’re making your March picks, trust me. You’ll thank me later…maybe…probably. Thank you for reading my Creighton rant.

Had a bad feeling about this one before the game even kicked off. Big East ball isn't as strong as last year but the top of the conference is still some of the best teams in the entire country and winning away against them is as hard as ever. UConn looked sloppy and with Clingan getting into early foul trouble while trying to go up against one of the most comparable bigs in the country, you knew this was going to be a tough game. Creighton was LIGHTS OUT. They didn't just win this game, they shot the ball like it was the all-star game and the word "missing" left their vocabulary. If you shoot 50%+ from the field and from 3, you're just never going to lose. Props to the Blue Jays!! Danny said it right about UConn's game that night, coaches coaching sucked and players playing sucked. How they respond against Nova and soon enough Marquette at Milwaukee will be a big tell, this was a wake up to them and the entire country that UConn is NOT unbeatable

The BigEast is a way more physical conference with many more talented teams than the SEC. And trying to say that Uconn isn't a physical strong team is basically saying that you're not keeping track of what goes on in college basketball. Just wait till the Big East tournament when uconn beats every single team and they're still way on pace to win the conference.

Instead, the complete criminalization of defense, which started with inflating the worth of a basket based on distance and now you can't even touch someone out there, has resulted in almost half of all shots being three-pointers, and the rest being layups and dunks. There was more diversity before the three.
