Sunscreen is the solution i think. I have been wearing sunscreen on my hands now (hands are more prone to crepey skin than other parts of the body) for a year (yes, us guys get crepey skin too!) and the difference is amazing, my hands look so much younger and less crepey. So i will continue to wear it

I read a book on Osteoarthritis and it called the chemical process ‘AGEs’ (‘Advanced Glycation End’ products). I thought that was a super cool Acronym for the process.

The best video I have seen this year! The crepey skin on the high points of my cheeks and I hate it. I will try a fibroblast treatment. I use my Sculplla mist every morning and now that the little Caviplla is available I am going to buy that from you too! You are the best Christine, thank you beautiful!!!

Lots of water and vit A, D3, zinc, E complex. Eat veggies. Coconut oil and olive oil. ( eating) don’t eat other oils. Also eat wild caught fish, omega 3’s.

Yep, it's an accelarated glycation ( vs normal glycation process ) resulted from excess of sugar consumption. It can be reversed by limiting eating sugar intake ( specially fructose ) and carbs . Topicals do not work on it cause it's an internal process. You've got to avoid sugar like fire and it will go away after a few months.

Shella Bella yes chemical peels works as well. It just depends on the depth.

Acknowledging that you are an aesthetician, what one puts in your body makes a huge difference (more so than what you put on the skin or what one does to the skin). Veggies, fruit, water, herbal teas, organic food, etc.

Great video. You have an easy to understand way of explaining things. Does the TPM essentially replace that little Project E device? Also, what do you put around your eyes in the 2 week waiting period between the Fibroblast treatment & the Scullpla/Neogen mask? ...a water based product like Aquaphor? or something that protects the barrier like a fat based cream? Or just go straight to the Scullpla/Neogen? Thanks

Main thing is staying out of the sun that will avoid crepe skin. I'm a sun worshipers so it pretty depressing. Staying hydrated & wearing tons of sunblock & using expensive creams to keep my skin hydrated is key. I have very sensitive skin. So needleling wouldn't work for me.

A diet without refined grains, added sugar and alcohol can transform the skin. There are also specific plants that ehn consumed target wrinkles, skin firmness and texture

I heard on another video that cross-linking can be actually repaired by rosmarinic acid topically (can also be taken internally to benefit the body).

Hi Christine, thank you for sharing all your knowledge with us, it's so appreciated. You mentioned shiny Barbie Doll skin is glycation. I had a chemical peel 20 years ago .As I age (70) my skin is thin but has a shiny look that I hate. Do I do more masks to break through what looks like a barrier? I realize it's hard to say without seeing me but I'm hoping you understand what I'm trying to describe.

Hi Christine, Do looovvveee your channel, thank you for sharing!! One of your gals had said she turned dark on her face and now is uneven. Happens to me everywhere. I ended up getting the PPL laser (the one that takes tattoos off) was the ONLY thing that lightened my face/neck but it took 5 applications to do it! Had tried many things but nothing worked but the laser, darn it! Keep making your awesome videos, thank you!

Hey, I recently turned 22 and suddenly started getting horrible crepey skin under my eyes. I never had that issue before but started oral minoxidil (for hairloss) 6 months prior to me noticing the skin issue. My dermatologist said the medication has nothing to do with that and it should go away with Vaseline but I don’t get it. It has to come from somewhere and I feel like my questions were left unanswered. I’m really scared about what’s happening and would love to get your advice. Thank you

Awesome explanation of glycation and it’s effects on skin. Is that the same thing that causes thickened dry skin that cracks on the backs of the heels? I’ve seen it in diabetic patients.

I have terrible heels. I'm not diabetic, but I believe it is related to my Hashimoto's thyroiditis (which causes very dry skin).

You give such great information. I'm brown like your hubby and daughter which leads darker spots that remains on my skin (legs) after any injury. It's annoying and it doesn't go away for years and years. I tried lightning creams etc, but to no avail. Any advice?

This is very difficult. But you could prep the area with vitamin C cream for a few weeks and then try microneedling the area.

Yes. I would try something soft like micro needling or even the Time Master Pro from Korea (it’s sold out and we expect more in January. I know I hate it.) but yes these modalities can lighten them considerably. But it also depends on how deep the pigmentation is. I’ve done test patches on old acne scarring with my electrodessicator. When done lightly and with care it can lighten. But your esthetician needs to be skilled and experienced in working with this.

Hello, Regarding the microneedling for they eyes. You say that the expert Dr says it won't work but then you say you would do it. I needle around my eyes - how do I know if it's making it worse or better? I really find this confusing. Thanks

Christine I recently received .05% Retin A. Should I use this on certain areas or no? I do not have acne it’s for overall use. She suggested it for lines etc. I’m sort of afraid to use it.

Deb Conley you could try it. You never know how your skin will respond. Use as directed and ease into it.make sure to use something to temper the initial irritation like NeoGenesis Recovery, very helpful and powerful anti-aging punch.

Try the same things she recommends for your face, perhaps exfoliate really well, then micro needle it, then the product best suited, then red light to help that soak in and produce collagen.

What is the downtime of fibroblast? Changing subjects: what causes dimpling in chin area when smiling? Is the skin thinning there? What treatment do you suggest for that, maybe Botox that area? Btw, I subscribed since your skin looks baby smooth yet have muscle control unlike all those Botox injection gals

Lol! Yeah keeping the face real looking is a fine line. Some step over that and keep going, unfortunately. Fibroblast downtime is usually 4-7 days, a few days longer for the neck. It takes the skin 3 months to completely all the healing underneath, though.

Hi please help... Ive used fibroblast and have SO much dark skin because of it. My even tone is gone...plus a really dark mustache from using above my lip. It looks terrible and makeup slides off of my new skin now. I have an important event on monday.

Katie • yes they can. Depends on how bad it is. What I didn’t get into it the lack of EFAs in the diet and how that leads to thin, wrinkles skin too. I’ll have to do a part two. Thanks for the reminder!

I have seen people do peels on their eyelids to help with this. Do you think this is effective? I know people will cringe when they see this comment. You apply with gauze that is almost dry not dripping with the solution. It is a company that makes peels that show this method for anti aging of the eye area.

EVCO doesn’t help with anything on the skin unless you’re into dull, dehydrated skin that’s been suffocated from it. Eat it. Don’t put it on my skin. Sorry rant over.

I guess the trick is if they tell us to use stuff that makes our skin dry then they just tell us to buy more and keep using it.. making more money from us.
