Has Benny lost his mind ruthlessly drilling into the Cresta dash ?
Can he get the cresta ready in time to run a successful pass for the first time since the cresta's return from America?

Banter between Gianne and Benny is entertaining. Its the Odd Coupe of cars and photography / film making. I love it.

Yeah I like this low-fi laid back presentation style. Kind of replaces Alan at The Skid Factory.

I also love that he isn't that knowledgeable (about car stuff), so he gets Ben to explain stuff. I feel like I already know most of it, but there's an occasional pearl of wisdom that I appreciate.

Gianne's questions from the perspective of not knowing all the car things, and Ben's answers in layman's terms provides so many teachable moments.

Definitely enjoy the casual banter throughout the film, makes it feel like you are just hanging out with these guys in the shop rather than getting lectured.

Plug temperature refers to how hot the plug gets during the combustion cycle. A hot plug has a very long distance between the location the ceramic touches the metal and the tip. A cold plug has a very shallow distance. A cold plug is less likely to cause pre ignition due to getting too hot until it fouls up from being too cold and not self cleaning because it’s not hot enough.

Something that I learnt the other day, which you probably already do. Have it configured that when your have your foot flat on the throttle the car won't start. Ideal for when you've changed oil etc and want to build pressure without having to disable/unplug something to stop the car starting.

Nice little touches to make things more practical. Just a thought on that topic (and something I've done on my car due to my hatred of curly cords). Have you considered using the horn button as your bump button? You should be able to feed this into the Haltech and have it function as bump while transbrake is engaged, and just normal horn function otherwise.

Instead of long bolts with a round profile, could you weld in flat bar? Thin side into the flow, then it wouldn't impact airflow through the exhaust as much.

@17:00 dont be embarrassed about the plug knowledge Benny... You're not the first and won't be the last... long story short, i had a similar 'derp' type of plug issue on a V8, the well known Qld drag racer 'mechanic' had the car for 2 months trying to figure out why my car wouldn't idle... then a mate with more knowledge pointed out that Champion and NGK uses a different number to identify their heat range.
