Especially the yellow nugget who kept popping wheelies for 1/8 mile. Then they finally got it to stay on the ground and she’s a ripper😃

6 cylinder/rotary fan here....I have to say, the sound recording on this video is excellent. All the trackside stuff is so crisp, it's like avtually being there. Obviously the single passes presented the perfect opportunity, however, (tips hat) beautifully recorded. Oh, and the montage music track.....spot on.

Street class in Australia sure is different to Street Class in USA. You see some of the TouTubers Street cars which are essentially Pro Mod cars with lights because they're registered in states that allow almost anything to be registered. I sitll love those USA cars, but seeing a 8 second Cresta with absolutely original interior other than the required safety stuff is still the best thing ever. I'd like to see the interiors of some of those 6 second GTR's.

Yes, you can sit in them, but most wouldn't be comfortable like the Cresta.

It's amazing how fast quarter mile times are these days...!! 😳 I couldn't imagine what a 6sec pass feels like, doing 9's & 10's makes it hard to focus and comprehend what's going on in the moment... 😱😱

Great vid. A few things amazed me. That 1200 was sensation. So well setup and straight! What was the tank under the front of the blue RX3 coupe at the start? On the subject of RX3s, I know why people love em, but they mostly seem to struggle to get off the line. Over-rated I'd say. Good luck on Drag week.

8.1 on a glued up track with be an 8.70 on a track with a couple of hundred cars down it. HOW do so many cars lose voltage?? Even if the alternator is not doing its thing the battery should be 13.5V Yet I used to do 3 day race meets without an alternator which I consider an instrument of the devil. On a 580hp Chev.

Are we talking about a carby chev? Then thats why. Cars with EFI on full chat can be drawing upwards of a hundred amps during a run between fuel pumps ignition injectors ECUs etc A fully old skool mechnical V8 could probably do the same with

We’ve consistently run quicker than 8.50 on wednesday nights ( up 200 cars on mostly street tyres)
