You need to mention which transmisson and engine you are driving. I could guess it was Petrol IVT, when you mentioned 'rubber-band effect'.... not sure if the less-informed buyers can do that .. 🙂

Normal petrol (xp91) does completely fine in Hyundai's T-GDi's cause they're tuned and worked on to tackle that already, though premium would do better like any other n.a petrol engines.

Features wise seltos is 1 lakh cheaper than creta in middle models Compare HTK seltos with S model creta .... For base model petrol n manual diesel go for creta , For IMT and Middle n Top models....go for seltos .....

@@vinaykumar-lx9gz Bro, every variant on Seltos costs more than Creta's respectively. Creta's top DCT is 23.04lakhs than Seltos's top X-line 23.37lakhs, and Seltos diesel's costs even more but Creta diesel's on road price is same as T-GDi DCT on the website I checked.

What if they didn't want diesel but wants an N.A petrol only, where Creta's 1.5l vtvt is an upgrade option, or want to go for a better performing 4cyl turbo petrol? The diesel also still makes sense becos some ppl want same engine but on a bigger better car.
