Great to see you again Anthony pain ! After a so long time and pause ! I hope your're doing well ! And cool that you mark the event with another video about one of the numerous planet from the "Aldebaran universe", who include others spin-off series. Here, it's Betelgeuse planet, who is enterely the opposite to the previous planet, Aldebaran, with mainly dry mainland and little areas of water !

I once made up my own alien planet as a teen. I was inspired by Darwin 4 and thought what would a planet that was the complete opposite be like? Thus the planet I came up with was covered by a global fresh water ocean with a pair of land masses each the size of texas. In the northern half of the planet the climate is cooler a damp being dominated by a temperate rainforest covering the northern continent while the southern part of the planet has a dryer hotter climate with a vast desert covering the southern continent which is dotted with various canyons. During certain times of the year an event called the mega tide causes the canyons to fill with water for the global ocean for a period of three to four months. If anyone wants to know about a few of the animals there I’ll gladly explain a few here.

Absolutely loved all the "les mondes d'Aldebaran" stories, some of the greatest sci fi BD (comics), and it would translate surprisingly well into a tv show if you ask me.

Why is the planet called Betegeuse. It's the name of the giant star. They copied the name of her. Pretty confusing 😕 (beetle-juice)
