You are an amazing teacher. My grandfather mined @ Brandy City, CA at the turn of the century (1900). Hydraulic mining was allowed then. You are such an inspiration, for your hard work and excellent rewards in the gold field. Please continue your searches and record. Thank you.

I'm back from my outing with no gold. The person who was supposed to go with me had to cancel so I thought about staying home but I finally went out, an hour behind schedule. Then, I couldn't find the spot I was looking for. I passed it heading out and coming back. Maybe I dreamed it. I did scope out another spot or two and scratched a crevice which had no business having any gold in it, but I just had to do it - ya know? Anyway, maybe next time gadget.

Well out here in Nevada it's so cold and muddy I can't get out! Had 6" of really wet snow the other day and a few folks been checking in to see if the roads are good or not seems several other folks are itchin to get out too. Stuck at home again so I thought I'd see what somebody else with gold fever was doing! Lol you did real good Big Brother! I miss detecting the streams in California! That's my summer detecting happy place. ! Good job nice gold! And had time to video too!👍

Well deserved gold.In Downunder opposite problems, temps over 40, not in F but C, lack of water,good access to bedrock, but I have to face the heat one day to finish what may be under water, next rain coming.regards George

Enjoy all the videos. I purchased a mining claim on the North Fork of the Feather River this summer and we'll be going there the first time the week before Thanksgiving. I don't have any tools yet but I'm just glad to own the mining claim. I have an old cheap Bounty Hunter metal detector I hope will detect lead a couple of shovels...
