Crews remained at the scene overnight to put out hotspots from the massive fire that burned the Oceanside Pier.

It’s so amazing that they were able to recover the insurance money from this tragedy. 🙏🙏🙏 I live in Oceanside. I wonder what will come. 😕

If they do rebuild they should make a boat dock area lower to hitch boats to and then a stair up to the top so that boaters can dock at it they could charge fees for permanent spaces to park boats to and make money for a rebuild. Have lower tier level to put the boats at and a stair at the end to new places and then rebuild across too !

You don't "allow" a fire to do anything. They do what they want to do. All it takes is a missed ember for ocean winds to fire it back up into an inferno.

Love the Pier but before you rebuild it,,,,,, BIULD SHELTERS FOR OUR OCEANSIDE HOMELESS!!!!! PLEASE SAVE OUR FAMILIES THAT ARE HOMELESS IN OCEANSIDE, CA !!!!

The Pier brings in tourism which brings in the money you need for those shelters. If the money isn't gonna be spent on the Pier, it was never going to be spend on housing the homeless.
