CRF450RL Judder Spring Removal Test and Ride

Жыл бұрынIf you have a Honda CRF450RL, 450R, 450RX, or 450X, then your bike has a judder spring in it like mine. I wanted to test if removing the judder spring was worth eliminating a rare failure point or if it would make the bike not rideable. In this video we'll swap it out and take it for a test ride to see how it does

I removed the judder spring from mine shortly after bringing it home from purchase. I like how it now requires half the clutch lever throw to fully disengage the clutch.

Hey great vid! I found the 450R clutch packs far more readily available and cheaper than L. The aftermarket ‘R’ version I purchased did not have a judder spring. I’ve done around 1000 miles with the new ‘R’ clutch pack (no judder spring) and had 0 issues

The cbr150r that are made in thailand has judder spring, from 2002 to 2014, that are imported to Indonesia. The newer cbr150r from 2014 onwards, and the naked sibling, has no judder spring. What are the differences that the judder made actually with with no judder?

Not so sure you noticed, but the top disc goes in a different grove than the rest of the plates.
