You can remove the interior cut lines of an offset by turning it into a basic cut and using the contour tool. Then, you turn the offset back to a print & cut image. Thank you for yet another very informative video. 🌸

My husband purchased this joy Xtra machine for me as a surprise we have a special needs daughter that requires 24 hour care sometimes well on the weekends I do the overnight in her case it is a non sleep position. She has a trachea and take 31 medications a day to stay alive. This is not a pity party by no means it is our life but this is something I can work with in the middle of the night. I hope cricut gives you something from this because you're an excellent teacher. I have already learned a lot from you so a huge thanks for that!! Please keep up the great work.

U are the first that explains perfectly how to get started & do the iron on. Thank u for taking the time. I loved u presentation. My thinking about the deeper color, perhaps it is like the infusible inks that they show lighter before u put heat to it & it shows darker afterwards. Just a thought. This is a great demo, Bethany! I tried this product this past weekend on a small project and had a similar experience with the colors looking a lot more saturated once pressed. I liked the result, it made my floral design look more jewel-toned, but I can see it going either way! I really like the product, but I"ll definitely be careful about "fussy" designs and make sure to use a nice solid offset so it's easier to peel off the backing sheet.

Good to know yours did the same! I still like my shirt and am wearing it today (ha ha!) but I would have preferred it remain the original color, especially since I took the time to color match the offset with the shirt. That was disappointing.

Decided to try this again today. When I added my offset, it came up that the image was too big. I adjusted that a bit a few times. Also it cut the Vintage Soul part separately? Tried to change the offset color to a cream color, but could not get it right. This was a major challenge, however, your video was very helpful and the end result, which I pressed onto a canvas tote bag, came out really good. Thank you.

With this sort of material it’s normal that the colour changes when you apply heat..I’ve used the Siser Easy Color, plus various other brands and they all act the same way..the heat brings the colour to life. If you prefer a lighter tone try lightening the design before you print to offset the change in colour. I find that some heat resistant transfer tape is good to have on hand to transfer more intricate designs..Siser has some specific material which you can use with this type of material ..if the design is solid you do as you did and carefully peel off the design from the backing sheet and apply it in one piece but if the design has various components you really do need some TTD application tape.
@Bethadilly
@Bethadilly 9 ай бұрын
Very interesting to know. All of the past brands that I have used for printable HTV have not changed color once the heat is applied, this is the first time I have seen that. I have always had my image remain an accurate color when the heat goes on and I think this was a pretty big change in color. It's not really that I prefer the lighter tone, but that I prefer my design to be the accurate color that I print it as, if that makes sense. I understand with sublimation that this is the case, but the software and printer will automatically print the ink accordingly so that it will take on it's true color once heat is applied.

I think the end result should be what is on your created design on your computer etc. I know with sublimation, it might look lighter when printed, but then intensifies in color after printing. This 'may' have been the case here? It's hard to tell what the color is on your laptop. It might have been closer to the printed color than it seems. In any case, I thought it looked great! Thanks for a great video as always 😊
@Bethadilly
@Bethadilly 9 ай бұрын
I agree! That being said, the color on my computer matched the color that printed perfectly. The color changed with the heat. To me, if that is the case...it should be specified on the product. For sublimation, it is known that the ink intensifies upon heat application which is why the printer prints the ink with less saturation...but for this product that isn't stated anywhere.

All of them get brighter when you iron. If you want lower resolution you have to do it in the print settings
@Bethadilly
@Bethadilly 7 ай бұрын
I agree that to be true with sublimation products, but not with printable iron-on. With sublimation, everything is intentionally muted at printing because the product indicates it will take on true color with heat. If adjusting color settings was to be part of the process for this printable iron on product, it would need to be clear in the instructions.

@Bethadilly
@Bethadilly 10 күн бұрын
Yes, that is normal for the sublimation process and sublimation ink. However, not for a heat transfer. It should not print accurately in color and then heat inaccurately. Whereas, sublimating takes on its true color with heat, this color takes on an abnormal and untrue color.
