Hey guys! I am very excited to bring you this tutorial! Today we'll be creating our own script planner stickers and date covers using pixlr a free online photo editing website. You'll learn to create an offset - or a 'bubble' - around text, save it as a PNG, and then upload to Cricut Design Space to cut. Since Cricut Design Space doesn't offer the option to create an offset or white space around text or images this is a great way to easily do so.
Pixlr is a great alternative to InkScape for this tutorial as you don't need to download any software. Pixlr provides you with a ton of fun fonts but you can also upload your own to use.
This tutorial is super simple and with only a few steps you can have you own DIY Script planner stickers ready to go in no time.

Love this! Thanks so much for sharing!! I have been trying to make date cover stickers in Design Space (probably very simple, but I ama Newbie). Just the circles to "redate" or spice up my planners. I don't know why this has been a struggle for me!!?? Any tips?

Hi! Your video was so helpful and introduced me to a whole new world of creating easy stickers! I have a question however, I have followed your video to the T, but when I upload the image to Cricut design space, I get a black background around the word, and it prints that way. I’m wondering how I can get rid of the background and just have it cut with the white space?

Love your videos for stickers and planners !! Any tips on how to make sure my words on my word sticker sheets are the right width and height in silhouette design?? I’m so flustered 😫 For ex I think I size the word “ work day “ for my planner then when I print it is too big or too small ugh. Moe please help !?

I have been looking EVERYWHERE to find a video like this! Thank you so muchhhhhh!!!!!!! Something for the future.... maybe you could do a video on how to make stickers with sayings that are already written? I have a few PNG files that have cute sayings already but my cricut freaks out and cuts out each individual letter when I cut them... I'm assuming because they don't have that white background.

wooo hooo glad it helped! You can actuatlly add that PNG as a new image layer in Pixlr and then do the offset or ourline around it under Filter > Outline. It will work the same way!

I have a question - if I have already created text images for stickers in ProCreate and saved them as .psd files, can I import them into Pixlr and do what you just did?? This video is awesome!!!

you may be able to. I think that Pixlr supports a psd file but you can always save as a PNG or other file type and add to pixlr. I'm not familiar with procreate but if you can save as another file type - like PNG then you can upload that PNG directly to cricut design space and cut out the need for pixlr. Hope that helps!

@@MoeHoward516 Wow, YES!! You CAN import PSD files into Pixlr! What a godsend - I have been trying for, literally, WEEKS to figure out how to put borders around text (it's actually my daughter that is using ProCreate to make them - I'm more of the Design Space person). I have been able to get good results a few times, but I could never replicate what I had done because I fiddled around and tried so many different ways. There are lots of videos, but not any for what I was specifically trying to do until you posted this one. Thank you SO MUCH. No more going back and forth between PS and AI and losing resolution in the process. I will be forever grateful and a faithful subscriber and supporter!!

I just love your videos!!! what program other than cricut can you upload these images to to make a sticker sheet. I am trying to build a sheet but I don't want to do the sheet in cricut because I wont let me use it out of cricut. Could I use Inkscape??Would you make a layer in inkscape for the sticker sheet the size of 6.75 x 9.25 and just duplicate all the stickers to fit that sheet? I cannot wait for your next video. Pixlr is awesome!!

I see some people use an offset. Some don't. Is it necessary? How do you get it not to cut each letter individually

You can calibrate your cricut from the left hand side corner menu.

That I do not know....when it comes to Pixlr you may find that answer in their FAQ section or even a quick email. You'll have to check for the fonts you download individually if they are for commercial use.
