KZfaq needs to do away with the dislike button, replacing it with a “somehow I ended up here and wish to be somewhere else” button. Who truly dislikes this? In order to legitimately dislike something, one must actually understand it - become relatively familiar with it - which would require sitting and listening to the entire thing, not distracted, preferably multiple times to allow for the familiarity to develop. Which, by definition, no one would actually do if they didn’t like something. Hence, in practical terms, in reality, it’s impossible to truly dislike something.

@@Kuato what if you subscribe to someone and they put out videos that are a lot worse than usual? social feed back, both positive and negative are good. this has 30k views and 19 dislikes. if you want to argue that 19 people are completely wrong and dont know what a dislike button is then you can, but 19 out of 30k is such a small minority its basically negligible. i appreciate the prosey take on the matter but Phoenix and el tugaball are right. to say no one can "truly" dislike something is completely false. this is music, you can listen to something once and not like it, especially in this day and age when theres a million different subgenres, to think you have to listen to a whole album multiple times before you can say if you like it or not, is insane.
