If you look closely at 3:56:24 you can see seams in Sonic's arms and legs. Has our hero been a robot this whole time?! It would explain a lot

Fun fact: Sonic's real name is *Oglevie Maurics* the Hedgehog. It was revealed in an Archie comic which is considered canon.

The bug where you get sucked off the path is not present in the Dreamcast version. The Dreamcast version is superior in almost every way, the DX version breaks the lighting and has jank physics.

He's running a city (secretly) in Riders Zero Gravity, so it's possible he has "legitimate" enterprises that give him his funds.

I know the new sonic movie isn’t technically anything close to canon. But I’d like to think it’s a similar situation to that movie, where he supplies technology and weapons to governments for a price, but he needs the chaos emeralds In order to help them reach their full potential. (In the case of this game it’s chaos, the movie chose rings for some reason but it’s basically the same thing).

This game is awesome. Dont let Crik and especially Daves being bad at games muddy your opinion. They also played on a emulator instead of the official pc release, so they had bugs resulting from the Emulator. The game is not nearly this buggy usually. Also disappointed they didnt use the PC version, since there's a 2 player co-op mod, and BetterSADX which makes it prettier. 20 year old game btw.
