Story Details:
00:00 Scene 1: In the Jewellery Store
Police Officer: We received a report of a robbery at this jewellery store. What happened? Are there any witnesses?
Clerk: Yes, I was here. A tall man in a black jacket threatened us with a gun and asked us to hand over all the jewellery on the counters.
Police officer: Was this man wearing gloves?
Employee: No, he was not wearing gloves.
Police Officer: Did he touch the counters?
Female Employee: Yes, I saw him leaning on that glass.
Police Officer: OK, we are going to check for fingerprints to identify the suspect.
01:19 Scene 2: At the Police Station (with the suspect in custody)
Police Officer: We have identified you from your fingerprints, what do you have to say about what happened?
Suspect: I have nothing to do with this robbery. I want to speak to my defence lawyer.
Police Officer: He's on his way. In the meantime, you are remanded into custody.
Suspect: What an injustice, I had nothing to do with this, I want to go home.
Police Officer: That won't be possible for the time being.
02:14 Scene 3: In Court
Defence Counsel: Your Honour, my client has no prior record and denies all allegations. You have the wrong person. He is not guilty of this crime.
Judge: This is a serious case and there is evidence for us to consider. His fingerprints have been found at the scene. We are going to proceed with the criminal case.
Defence Counsel: But, Your Honour, my client is a model citizen.
Judge: Counsel, your client does not have a credible alibi, the witnesses' description matches his physical appearance and his fingerprints were found at the scene.
Defence Counsel: But they have not found the weapon with which the crime was committed.
Judge: True, but the weight of evidence is sufficient to proceed with the case.
04:00 Scene 4: Verdict
Judge: After considering all the evidence, the verdict is... guilty.
Defence Counsel: A terrible mistake is being made. We will appeal the decision, Your Honour.
Judge: You have the right to do so, but for now, the conviction stands. The defendant is sentenced to five years in prison. This is the punishment for the crime committed.
Police Officer: You must put on handcuffs, please.
Defendant: I can't believe this is happening. I'm innocent!
Defence Lawyer: We will keep fighting for your freedom. Don't worry.
05:19 Scene 5: In the Prison
Guard: Welcome. Here is your cell.
Defendant: I never imagined I'd end up in jail. This is a nightmare. I am innocent.
Guard: The judge has sentenced you, you just have to wait for the outcome of the appeal.
Accused: I hope justice will be done.
Guard: In the meantime, you can make yourself comfortable.
