I think that part was only made up to make the story bit more interesting.. think about it, the altercation with the politician takes place just a day before urmila and her bf returns and carries out the planned murders.. how convenient for them both that this argument with the politician took place just a day before the murders took place, therefore making the round-faced guy the prime suspect while diverting the suspicion of the police away from the real culprits. Unless urmila planned for the fight between her boss and the politician to happen just a day before her bf planned to kill which is impossible because she wasn't even at the party which means that little backstory story of the politician is too much of a coincidence to be real
