When a small boy called Anuj goes missing from his colony, his parents lodge the complaint in a police station. The police soon find out that Anuj’s father often used to abuse him. A vessel comes flying, a glass breaks. Husband is angry and the wife is upset. That hatred, that ego. The distance that keeps growing. Yet when the heart takes over the mind, the outcome is a mindless tragedy.Crime Patrol- Dastak will attempt to look at the signs, the signals that are always there before these mindless crimes are committed. Jayant was not the child's father and the woman's husband but their tormentor. Such men take out their frustrations in life and workplace on their wives and children because they believe that at least at home they (the men) are in control. They are two-faced, one face at home and another face out of home. When Anuj's dead body was found, his father asked the Police Officer, "Mera bacha das saal ka tha. Usne kiska kya bighaada?" The Police Officer should have asked him "Das saal ke tumhaare bache ne tumhara kya bighaada tha jiske kaaran tum uski roj maar-peet karata tha?" and thrashed the father mercilessly. Anuj's mother left her husband and home in the end but she should have done that together with Anuj much earlier. No point in putting up with a psychopath husband and ruining one's life. Good acting by Anuj, his mother and the two Police Officers.
