I don't give a fuk about sexuality either. Their story was beautiful. I like Bill's character a lot more in the show than in the game.

It's easy to jump on the "woke" bandwagon when it is just that, a bandwagon. But despite whatever race, sexuality or whatever you want to define a person as being, quality writing and acting will always shine and these two did a phenomenal job of portraying these characters.

It's great because they focused on good writing to develop the characters rather than making their entire personality about a stereotyped sexuality- this was organic, as it should be. PS, Frank was lucky as hell to find Bill- maintains and runs everything AND cooks like a chef, lmao

To be fair I think Frank fell for bill as soon as he gave him rabbit and beaujolais as he gave him a look knowing he was a good person/ man and certainly that is hard to come by during the end of the world.

I just noticed that Frank hinted at Bill possibly being gay by pointing out that he knows to pair the Beaujolais with rabbit. Bill saying he doesn’t look the type but Frank saying he does. It went over my head the first time.

Or just a comment about Bill not thinking he looks like someone with a refined palate, but Frank says he does which lets Bill know he doesn't look as rough and unrefined as he sees himself. Frank did wonders for Bill's self-esteem.

To be completely real idc I think all the relationships between other characters in this game is unnecessary to the story and I hope they move away from this love triangle bullshit or other relationship issues between other characters
@foxfireman188-ls1kv
@foxfireman188-ls1kv Ай бұрын
@@fordguy2836 It might be ancillary to the main story, but it worked to flesh out the world, rather than just a contrived love triangle to create drama for the sake of drama; seeing how these two interact within the context of the world let the audience see how the world worked, rather than just being from Joel and Ellie's perspective.

This didn’t need to be an episode of the Last of Us. It misrepresents the characters from the game, and hijacks the show. It’s essentially filler. However, I loved this as a stand alone piece. It could’ve been a series all on its own.
@evonne315
@evonne315 Ай бұрын
Nah. It was a good decision to have at least one set of characters be revised for a winning ending. Too much of everything was going wrong, which one could argue isn't realistic. This added realism and charm that would of been probably boring to have in the video game.

@@williammccormick984it’s actually established in the game that this relationship did happen. The only difference is that bill was alive and if we got what happened in the game it would be a very short and anticlimactic episode. My point is there are things that are forced and things that were needed and based off how many people that didn’t even know bill was gay and got mad and thought that was forced in even tho it’s canonical….ya I’d say this was some context that was needed hahaha also the acting is immaculate 🤌🏾
