Really? Ive felt Pattinson has done a fair job picking roles while Stewart has been all about silly activism crap the whole time. Even the Runaways. Let me tell you all something. If a story turns out to be progressive or conservative it can be great. But if starts out trying to be either it will suck big donkey toes. Does this impress upon you something you can really get behind?

I don’t understand why anyone would want to see things of that nature. Im a naturally empathetic person though. I can’t stand to see people, or any creature really, in pain. This trailer alone made me feel sick and it makes me think that humans in every aspect are too far gone, too far removed from our natural environment, desensitized to everything we naturally should be repulsed by, and too disconnected with other people to advance in any way other than technologically. But hey if you enjoy it I really can’t judge. Some people just like the creativity of it I guess.

If you're a Cronenberg fan, you're a Cronenberg fan, and this has Cronenberg written all over it! From Naked Lunch, eXistenZ, Videodrome, to the Fly and Scanners, they're mind bending movies that challenge, amaze and leave a lasting impression. I find it harder to watch gruesome stuff as I get older and since becoming a dad (I don't know something just changed in my constitution LOL), but I'll make an exception for this. He does sci-fi horror in a way that makes the unknown so exciting and terrifying, in a kind of Lovecraftian way!

I struggle to truely enjoy Cronenberg’s films but I appreciate that he always has a point to make. His film are articulate, intelligent and well acted. I do find him a very clinical, sober and uncompromising director. I find his films in general cold, distant and difficult to connect with but I cannot deny he is a master of his craft. I’ll always watch his films and appreciate them but have never felt it to be a pleasant experience…..something I think he intends. His warmest film emotionally for me was the Fly…..and that had inverted Gibbons(?) and a guy having appendages melted off. Go figure

I can't believe it has been since ExistenZ since we have had some Cronenberg body horror, but also for me it's not about the gore or sexuality. Besides the obvious points of modern society, i think it's a rather open and cleanly placed view of the beauty one or another finds in bearing their very being, whats inside us to the forefront and also the desire of being completely open with not just in the form of a performance but in a sense on a more deeper felt and percieved sense of the sensual sense being something tangible or desired within the traditional sense of bearing one's soul... and the director beautifully captures it within the semblence of the camera's eye to the perception of viewable understanding, with the uniqueness of bodyhorror being something of a platform of a performance of those of body artists to the deepest convay of psyshical understanding, within shock and also intrigue 👏👏👏👏 easily the best film i have seen made in years

very different, difficult watch but if you make it through, gives you a lot to think about. um, it even 'moved' me which might sound odd because the physical aspect of the movie makes one feel ill throughout; I think viewers who are born or become 'different', or become disabled, handicapped, really dehumanized (at least in my case), the movie might have a very different meaning to you, at least some parts, and though it's a harrowing experience, you will find the will power to watch it in entirety and think about it. there are people in the world who feel underrepresented in films most often about race and/or ethnicity; this film feels as if it was made for and speaks to humans who are physically different and the mental/spiritual adaptation (or film's phrasing "evolution") to the physical world and in particular continued existence in mainstream society.

at first glance, if I had to refer to Cronenberg's, past movies based on this trailer, I'd say it looks like a mix of Crash with Existenz. Him coming back to the style he spearheaded and towered above all else is, of course, an event unto itself. Cronenberg is to body horror what George Romero is to the zombie genre. An obvious and necessary reference point. Will, definitely watch it, how could I not?
