“I’m afraid to get out” “You should be” That’s a deadly threat by a cop towards a non violent and innocent person, who is also a lieutenant in the armed forces. Insane, they can never work again.

@@ianbattles7290 Its very simple, DONT ASK QUESTIONS. Look, when you are stopped you do what you are told without comment. The moment you refuse to comply and start talking back, even to ask a simple question, the officer will always take it as negative attitude and intent. The guy was stopped for a very valid reason, one that could have been handled in a matter of minutes if he had simply did what he was told but he chose to escalate the situation instead. And if you want to know why they are being so heavy handed then let me explain. The driver of the vehicle is wearing a military uniform and that means there is a strong chance he is armed. Police will always take the heavy approach when there is a clear possibility of guns being involved and rightfully so.

He did everything wrong. He should have contacted IA, not the officer directly on his personal cell. He showed his ID and covered his picture and didnt show his badge. He said he was out of Jacksonville and they didnt know him because he was out of Tallahassee. He wouldnt give his supervisors name and number . He was asking about a ticket the officer wrote and then rescinded but said he was investigating corruption of others in the department. Most of all he was on the terrorist watchlist and classified as extremely dangerous contrary to what this narrator is saying. Most likely for his cover but the police dont know that. I do think he should get the Oscar for best actor. The car had the AC on and it was cold out since a few have jackets on and he is wearing a sweater. Whoever put this together clipped out most of it and only put in the parts that fit his agenda of making the cops look bad.

So because he's a lieutenant in the military, he doesn't have to get out of the car and he's above the law ? Same thing with the agent that wouldn't get on the ground, just fuking do it so they can feel safe because they're scared to death obviously if they tell you to get on the ground then they can look at your ID all they want but everyone needs to argue and flex who they are first.

@@WhiteBoogeyman No, what YOU don't understand is the cops were infringing on their rights by giving unlawful orders, pal. Cops need to have reasonable suspicion of a crime being commited to have any right at all to order someone to do something. In case you don't understand, they need to actually see an illegal act being commited, or have reports of a crime being commited. Being "suspicious" in anyones opinion (including an officers), is not a fucking crime. By blindly following unlawful orders given by cops, they would be empowering them to keep infringing on peoples rights. You should stand up for your rights and refuse unlawful orders, for everyones sake.

@@DinGuSco So if you look like someone that's a suspect, that's not probable cause ? The lieutenant is the only one I didn't hear a reason. The ATF guy called then walked out of the house he was calling on, so they didn't know who he was. The time I was pulled it literally took 2 min because I cooperated and they said we are so sorry to have a good day. You don't know what they have been told by dispatch to do. If you don't listen, it really just pisses them off and causes more problems. I would never let cops in my house without a warrant and I will exercise my rights but anybody can call on you, and that's enough for them to detain you.

The issue was that the Army Lieutenant thought he would get special treatment because he was in uniform. He got butt hurt when they treated him the same way they would anyone else who breaks the law and doesn't follow directions. What this narrator failed to mention during his incomplete description is that the Lt. drove nearly 5 MILES before his clueless ass decided he would finally pull over into the gas station. That's why the cops conducted a felony stop. They had been trying to get his dumbass to stop for the last 5 miles and he wouldn't stop. That's called fleeing and eluding in many jurisdictions plus he didn't have a plate on his vehicle. Being a service member does not preclude you from following the law.

@@jakebrewer2579 You're simply WRONG because that isn't the case in every state. In some states, a cop will only have authority over you once you've broken the law meaning, they don't have the right to walk up to you and ORDER you to do anything. When they pulled the military guy over, the 1st thing they should have done was tell him WHY they pulled him over. Example "Sr you were pulled over because you ignored my flashing lights for a traffic stop due to no rear tags and because you kept driving to evade traffic stop". They didn't do that and simply pulled their guns just started trying to order him to get out the vehicle but never told him why or what law he broke. So he did not have to comply. In Texas, anytime I get pulled over and cop comes to my window and ask for license and insurance, I ask them WHY did they pull me over. If they don't disclose that reason or what law I've broken, I don't NOT have to comply as they're now violating my "rights to travel".
@jakebrewer2579
@jakebrewer2579 6 ай бұрын
@@rotaryperfection Comprehension is clearly not you strong suit my friend. In the very beginning of the video the officer announces to the radio that he is conducting a felony traffic stop. In EVERY state standard protocol is to detain the occupants. You do not have the right to know why you are being detained until it is successfully accomplished. Regardless of if they did tell him the guy did not comply with officers orders whatsoever and thus put himself in that position. Now that is not to say that the cop did everything right but regarding your point of guns drawn and their demeanor yes it is appropriate. Him pepper spraying him several times was inappropriate and you can tell the dude was brought into the force at a different time because he clearly had zero deescalation training whatsoever. If you watch it back as soon as the Lt. starts using the pepper spray several times and acting overly aggressive the younger cops start to pull back. I think it was the right call for him to have been given disciplinary action.

He was trying to play the oath of Office/Enlistment card. The problem is you do not have to obey *_unlawful_* orders and you do not have to obey "orders" of officers _appointed_ over you (meaning direct military superiors). There ARE lawful orders that you DO have to comply with from police, however, many times they try to make you believe that a _request_ or a _suggestion_ is an "order" when it is not. They bank on your lack of knowledge of your rights and their restrictions, which to be fair, 95% of people do not know... And THAT is why you should NEVER answer questions or turn over any document EXCEPT if they explicitly state that you are being ordered to do so and that you will be arrested if you refuse. And immediately ask for their sergeant or sheriff (not a deputy). In such cases you ALWAYS verbally state that you are/will _complying under duress,_ and that are/will do so in fear of imminent threat to your life. It's almost as if giving people a very small training window (less than a year, compared to 2-years on the UK that does not even cover gun safety and control) that requires very little entry requirement (outside of passing basic training), give them a gun and tell them to catch criminals (note: not upholding peace) is bad recipe for escalation. The main issue, however, is that the police forces in the US are extremely self-preserving and will do everything in their power to protect their own, regardless if said officer is corrupt or acting illegally. In any other country those officers would be immediately ordered to hand their badges (and firearms) in and forced to wait until a thorough investigation (including court trial) is completed before they are even considered to be fit for active duty again. They would also be lucky if they even got paid during this time.

The Back story of the FBI agent at 17:51 is that he was actually doing the whole thing to test the conduct of the officer & Department that was under Investigation to see if they handle the situation lawfully, asking things like if he can turn off his body cam & asking for medical attention, the officer was lucky he didn’t turn his body cam off, but failed badly by leaving him in a over heated car & not releasing him as soon as they found out he was a real FBI agent, it took them 10 minutes of talking before they let him go after finding out he was legit & they lied about saying he was on a terror list, a few of the officers were let go afterwards the Investigation was conducted.

Seemingly these officers, with only high school education, no particular skills, entered the police force as a “job”. And the “job” in their community can make them mentally proud. They have never thought about it as a career, nor had any deep thoughts as to what is “to serve and protect”. That’s why corruption takes place at this low level, even in the 21st century in the police force.

I'm starting to be more and more convinced of the fact that apart from excessive and unnecessary aggressiveness, police academy recruits learn best to shout a few stereotyped sentences, which they shout as loudly as they can repeatedly. The most important condition to be accepted at the academy is that the candidate must not have more than two neurons.
@Vittrich
@Vittrich 4 ай бұрын
They learn nothing because the training is way to short. There are states where it takes 6 weeks from entering Police Academy to roaming the streets, its not hard to realise why such examples exist and why those people are completly overstrained. Over here, Police Academy is 3 years and includes 9 months of psychological training, which prepares them way better for stressful situations. We still have some bad examples, the chance to einning the lotterx jackpot is stilll 18 times higher than getting shot =D
@gedanst1
@gedanst1 4 ай бұрын
@@Vittrich Thank you for the remarks. I would also like to make a clarification so that I am not misunderstood. The police institution is one of the most important and necessary in the society of any country. It's sad what you told me about the insufficient level of training of those people who have to risk their lives to defend ours. But I think that the insufficient training and the selection of personnel based on criteria that are not based on skills and abilities for this job, has become a frightening reality for all countries. In my country, the police officers hired to patrol the streets do not do any kind of training before being hired. Sadder than that, to be such a policeman they don't even need too much schooling. It is enough to have graduated from a general primary school where they learn to write and read, not necessarily correctly and, the most important thing is to be solid, aggressive, to execute orders unconditionally, to be totally obedient to their superiors and not to think with their head but with muscles. Fortunately for them, they don't have to fear for their lives when they go out on patrol. This is due to the fact that they are the first and biggest criminals, and in the best case they are only associated with famous and very dangerous criminals. Corruption is so great that they don't even hide anymore. They are even publicly displayed with notorious criminals, in exotic places, luxury restaurants and with luxurious cars. All these being things that normally, that is, only from the salary, they could not afford. A well-known sociologist from us made a public remark that should wake up all people wherever they are: "The formation and existence of large organized crime groups could not be possible if there was no acceptance and co-participation of the institutions of the state"

The arrogance of this police officer who has violated the civil rights of a Federal Law Enforcement agent would be astounding in most countries, but just seems par for the case in the good old United States of America!
@ASavageEye
@ASavageEye 7 ай бұрын
Firstly almost no other country has " Federal Officers" so this kind of situation is almost 100% unique to America anyway. The reason it seems par for the course is because there are so many agencies, they each think they are above the rest and none of them communicate with each other properly. Take the FBI agent who was retrieving the gun. The guy was wearing civilian clothing. If you were an officer who received a call from a member of the public saying some strange man was banging on their door and you arrived to find that guy then you not for 1 second think he was any form of Law Enforcement. On top of that, when the officer arrived and asked him to identify himself them man didnt and instead started calling the officer stupid. How on earth is that professional? American needs to sort itself out and stop having so many different organisations trying to do the same job. Consolidate it all into one system and for gods sake make them ALL wear a uniform to avoid these problems.

@@ASavageEye 1) Other countries (many actually) do in fact have more agencies, tiered even, than just typical law enforcement. 2) All agents should wear uniforms huh? Undercover agents wearing uniforms completely defeats the purpose genius. 3) No he did not ask him to identify himself. He asked him to raise his hands then shouted to get on the ground when the agent complied and told him to calm down. He did not ask for identification at all in fact, merely pointed his gun and suddenly shouted "Why didn't you identify yourself?" and the agent correctly responded by telling them that they never asked him to. Which the officer even said "Get on the ground. We'll figure it out." After realizing the agent was correct. 4) When wasn't the agent professional by the way? By pointing out they were wrong and answering them clearly? Or was it unprofessional to know your rights?

@@demontaco4116 1 - I was referring to MY country, not all countries so your very first point is already mute. 2 - I never mentioned undercover agents, that is beyond stupid to try and use as an argument. I would point out that in this video the agent was in fact NOT undercover so again your point is mute. 3 - He most certainly DID shout at him to identify himself just after getting out of his car, maybe watch it and listen carefully this time. When the man did not do so, and in fact began to behave threatening towards the officer by telling him he was " making a big mistake" and calling him an idiot/fool, then the officer told him to get down. At this point all the officer has to go on is a 911 call for help from a trespasser, a man who refuses to identify himself and is being rude. The officer behaved exactly as any other officer would have done in that scenario. 4 - A professional agent would have produced his Id the MOMENT a police car turned up. A professional agent would not have acted superior, told an officer he was making a mistake and certainly would not have called him an idiot/fool. His refusal to answer questions to a fellow member of law enforcement shows a complete lack of respect.

@@ASavageEye you can wear civilian clothing as a Federal Agent as long as you have your badge or any form of ID, in this case he had it under his jacket, and federal agencies are above police officers, most likely he didn’t show any identification because if he did in the officer’s mind that would be reaching for a weapon and could’ve potentially shot him, the officer should’ve been more calmed and should’ve maintained everything from de-escalating but made things much worse then it should’ve been. I would rather much get arrested by an FBI agent than a police officer.

It's eye-opening to witness the unjust treatment these law enforcement officers subject individuals to, even when they hold positions of authority within the government. The calm and composed demeanor of the FBI agents amidst the chaos is commendable, highlighting their professionalism and dedication to upholding the law. This serves as a crucial reminder of the importance of accountability and reform within law enforcement agencies to prevent such injustices from recurring.

You think criminals should have illegally owned guns? People lose certain rights when they commit crimes. The ATF agent was investigating an illegally owned shotgun (eg. the owner didnt follow the legal procedures to buy it and/or they committed crimes and weren't permitted to have guns).
