it’s a podcast, but the edge of sleep. it stars markiplier, but it is SO GOOD. Mark is unironically an amazing actor. it starts off slow, but then by episode 2 you are HOOKED

as someone who has sat through their share of uninspired biopics, I do agree, Rocketman stands above the crowd. I specifically liked the scene where he goes from one dinner argument to another, because it gave a sense of how Elton's memory of the era is just a jumbled mess. Also, I never looked into the production of the movie like that, but I do now see how having the lead actor sing his own take on the songs and having that consistent over the movie really sells it.

just discovered you through KZfaq recommendations and I simply love your channel! You have a very beautiful voice and a very fluid way of narrating :) You should watch Velvet Goldmine btw, it's very similar to this movie in its best aspects

I love this movie so much and as an Elton John fan i was suer excited when they announced and it was so fun to be in the Rocketman fandom back in 2019, and its funny to me that my Rocketman obssesion led me to a Taron Egerton obssesion which then led me to a Moominvalley obssesion so yeah Very important movie to me lmao
