Typhoon didn't have any ranged attack - the novel states that Otachi's tail swipe damaged the fuel reserves so the 122 plasma caster was useless@@lilvicky635

very well made!! If Cherno actually used the Incinerator Turbines like he did in the movie's official novel, Otachi's health bar would've gone down to at least under 50% since in the book it states, that they "seared off Otachi's flesh, driving her back".

The one thing I like about Uprising Over this one is that this movie treated the other two Jaegers like fodder, even though they were supposed to be super strong and experienced, and they barely even put up a fight. Uprising did a much better job at the Jaeger action. Rest of this movie is better tho

@@unapessoa4875 In this film, Cherno Alpha and Crimson Dynamo, despite being talked about as if they are the best of the best jaegers, they essentially act as fodder and only last 3 minutes. Pacific Rim uprising did a better job of showing more jaegers and having them be more equal. The rest of the first movie is better, tho

This was to show how powerful the kaiju really are. And the jaegers aren’t simply cheap fodder. Despite dying, they put up a decent fight against the kaiju

@@knightmare5097 But on of the kaiju was still taken out by Gypsy Danger, mostly on his own, and he didn’t have as much experience as cherno alpha, or the tech of crimson typhoon. Maybe they weren’t exactly fodder, but they shouldn’t have died so easily considering how much they were hyped up.

I think Cherno Alpha was named after Chernobyl, which is actually a city in Ukraine, not Russia.

Cherno Alpha is named after "Chernobog", the god of misfortune. Chernobog is Polabian, which means that it is of Slavic origin. They were going to name Cherno Alpha "Chernobog Alpha" originally, but changed it to just "Cherno Alpha" in the end. It does sound a lot like Chernobyl though.
