Your content is so consistently and incredibly meaningful, wow. The way you capture college life at top schools in such an aesthetically pleasing and authentic way is really inspiring. The way you respond to your commenters (from what I've seen) is just as inspiring. I absolutely adore what you're doing and wish I could do it as well--I'd probably offer to intern for you if I had the time in my schedule haha. Keep up the amazing work, guys :')

Your content is 20x as good as videos/accounts with 20x as much of a following. I know it's presumptuous of me to think that you might, but please don't let get caught up in numbers, because I'm sure your content has impacted people to such a higher degree than any other channel's, like it has to me

Thank you so much for your kind words. We're constantly trying to release content that is not only informative, but entertaining to watch. You've made our day :) We'll be releasing new content shortly! If you're still wanting to intern for us, email a.meltzer@crimsoneducation.org with your CV and a bio of yourself. luticia yeah, I don't understand how you can be a "full-time student" (putting that in quotes because two hours worth of class every day is absolutely ridiculous) and only spend that little time in class. Where I'm from college classes start anywhere from 8 to 9 am and if you're doing a full time course you'll be in college until 5 at least (some classes will run until 8 pm but on those days you don't usually start until 11 or 12).
@luticia
@luticia 7 жыл бұрын
Amelie Roll Same here. Exactly the same. At least if you study something "serious". But there are also courses e.g. sociology *lool* that are more like a hobby which you do besides to something major in your life. *lool* In this case, you've got to go to university only twice a week and only for some couples of hours. This is such a joke. My sis studied that. She passed EVEN with major psychic problems, spending the whole days in bed and doing nothing besides opening a book the evening right before the exam. My studies were like yours. Daily, mostly 8 am to 6 and sometimes like yours also till 8 pm. But this is sick,too, because you night isn't over. There's still some work for uni that you've got to do.

many people think that students pay hundreds of thousands to go to top schools when in reality one of the perks of going to a top school is that if you actually make it in, they are GREAT at paying for your tuition (and more) especially if you come from a low income household. lol not everyone is dropping 100k a year to go to an ivy league.

So many comments 'History LOL' well here in the UK History is considered one of the most prestigious degrees. That's incorrect; residential colleges at Yale are kind of like Hogwarts houses. You're randomly sorted into one of them, and you're associated with that 'college' for the rest of your 4 years. It's not common in the US; Oxford has something similar.

THE NBHD I hear Ivy admissions is extremely random as in they don't pick people based on having good grades AND volunteering. They reject so many amazing people. I think they might look at one factor that they want everyone to have in common with each incoming class or something? They need some selective thing to pick a few thousand out of tens of thousands, and it's hard when everyone is just as equally amazing and skilled.

Bills for the next 15 years but good for you. Unless you have rich parents, of course. Which is probably more than half of Ivy League students. Wish I had the money to go to a good school.

Ivy League schools like Yale have financial aid so any student admitted is given funding based on the parent's income to be able to afford it. It is a myth that you need rich parents to afford it because they meet all demonstrated financial need for families.

My nephew was accepted to Yale with a full ride. He is poor. Most students there are really intelligent and find scholarships easily.

The stupid thing is not every smart person gets a scholarship. And so they end up going to community college, which is fine. They won't make as much money as an Ivy League graduate would, then they can't afford to send there children to a good school. And the cycle goes on and on. Education should be free.

Serious question: why do American college students never have to work? In Australia almost all university students have to work part time/casual to afford rent/food/petrol. Where do Americans get their money?

Anet McClintock we do work. It just depends how financially stable you are. Some kids got full rides or parents helping, while some don't have that and balance one to two jobs.

They're called loans, my friend. US has an average of 1.2 trillion in student debt annually which is terribly high. Basically, loan repayment doesn't start until after they graduate. So if they're smart, they don't have to work during school. That or the parents pay.

For me, the issue isn't that she is majoring in history, it's that I find it weird that somebody would choose to pay $200,000 to end up with a history degree. I don't know which state she's from, but if she were from a place like Wisconsin, North Carolina or Texas, she could get the exactly same thing for around $40,000. Yale is the place to go for a graduate degree since lots of companies and law firms will only hire students who possess JDs and MBAs from a top 15 grad school.
