This makes me so emotional. As a physically challenged person, I thank each and every person in this movie for their sacrifice because I wouldn't have the beautiful life I have now without them. They are heroes.

So happy that they put this documentary together. I never knew anything about the actual fight to get the legislation passed, and then it provided a deeper understanding of the current mental health and autism rights battles. A lot of heroes all around.

I'm so grateful that this documentary included substantial contributions from, and discussions about, people fighting for their rights not only as disabled citizens but also as queer citizens, Black citizens, impoverished citizens, and more. As a blind lesbian with multiple "invisible" disabilities as well, I frequently feel erased not only from the history of disability rights advocacy but also from many austensibly inclusionary presentday spaces for disabled people. Every single person who contributed to the era of disability rights struggles featured in this film is truly a heroine/hero, and their fight is now ours!

I was at camp Jeanette. It was so good to see this film. It bought back so much emotion I felt as though I was there watching this film This film captured the emotion of being a young physically challenged adult and what it was like struggling through the period a fighting for disability rights. Excellent film You caught the struggle and the emotion In this film Thank you for the memories of my youth And growing into adulthood

This is Good Documentary. Of Powerful Men and Women who didn't let their Disabilities blind them from Retrogressive Treatment/Handling. Thanks to those Brave people for showing that Disability is Not Inability. Long Live Humanity.

Thank you for adding audio descriptions, please make a category for these on Netflix so they are easier to find. The original "Borgen" in Danish had audio descriptions too, but sadly there is no audio description for Borgen on Netflix. I hope this will become more common, it makes it way easier to follow a show while doing other tasks.

This is a really good documentary. Thank you. These guys seemed like they were having the time of their lives, like the summer of love 1967. I grew up legally blind (Albinism). I also grappled with ADHD and borderline ASD when I was growing up. I was very grateful to attend something like this. I attended Wisconsin Lion’s Camp for 12 straight summers when I was growing up (1978 to 1990). Wisconsin Lion’s Camp is a camp for children and adults with disabilities. Still going strong and growing.

This is a great documentary. As a person with a developmental disorder, I appreciate the hard work of these activists, because that means that I can join the workforce just like everybody else.

I wanted to say handicap or not handicap either way Jesus loves you and died for you. If you accept him as a savior you will be in his kingdom and there will be no more death disease or disabilities. You can accept Jesus as your savior anytime you want. As the old saying goes he is only a prayer away. Just ask him to be your savior and he will. God bless you very much.
