Nice footage here. So sad to see a lion in his prime suffer such a gruesome injury at the hands of poachers. I hope he finds other lions to join up with. He won’t survive too long by scavenging alone with that injury.

Lions are more scavenger than alpha predator in this state, its very possible if he plays his cards right that he will see 2023 but your also right the deck long term is very stacked against him. That type of physical loss is hard to come back from.
