No it basically neutralizes most all-rounders because it can push you outside of melee range but still keeps you inside of its range. Pair this with teleport and literally no melee all-rounders can fight you.

@@robertomonteverde7660 you can run from Mewtwo Y, you can't from X if their team collapses on a pulled player. If Y has to chase you, then your team can collapse on them. X doesn't have to chase anyone and their team can delete you before you can do anything about it. They are nowhere near the same level.

The one good thing about Mewtwo Y is that it'll be killable at least. Mewtwo X in Mega form and Umbreon (for months) are/were so unfun to play against, cuz no matter what you do they live forever and they're not even using any skills to do that, they just passively live forever.... just because. Same thing with Lapras, except all these mons did absurd dmg too. At least Y will be killable, but that attack speed is pretty ridiculous : 3

The good thing about it is the fact that its gonna be super squishy. However its going to be hella annoying to reach it with all those pushes, teleport and range moves.. i fear its going to be Glaceon all over again.

I have a feeling Mewtwo Y will be more balanced, because it got more nerfed than X, and its an attacker which are way more manageable than All-rounders, unless its Glaceon. I think it will be just same as release Mew, broken but takes skills to use, as many Unite players don't know how to kite.

Glaceon is only unreasonable just by nature of its kit, since there's nothing that can cancel auto-hits yet. But yeah, it seems the all-rounders seem to have a history of breaking, as if maybe they're TOO good at everything.

He has the best damage, range and mobility of all ranged carries and imagine him with a blissey or comfey. Defenders and all-rounders can't do anything (except Urshifu). He is the definition of Power creep

Congrats on 100k. Also Mewtwo Y doesn't look bad. Definitely a nuisance in spacing from what I have seen. He has potential to harrass a lot of melee pokemon from a distance.

I really like that mewtwo Y's moves feel interchangeable with each others the thing I'm afraid of though is the special defense decrease stacked on top of like the unite sp def decrease and like wigglytuffs sing since it does that as well so like spoon wigglytuff sing into like a unite move seems really really strong

I think in solo queue with bad team comps it’s gonna be underwhelming. But slap a defender/supporter or three on it who are good at protecting it and it’ll be busted

Yeah uh oh recover mega gauge increase is just...uh oh, but other than that I thinks it's going to be 2/3 to 3/4 as good as mewtwo x because surprisingly early in the pts mewto y had 4 star defense from going mega but they probably insta nerfed that to be 3 stars instead wich is pretty squishy but its what most all rounders defense stars are but it will make up for it with moving around the outskirts of the battle using psystrike then activating rapid fire scarf and raining hell down on the enimies, and i think mewto could actually do well to very well with drain crown in fact its kinda built with it because you would be healing like 350 to 500 health per shot with drain crown, anyway I love purple pokemon and i sure hope my favorite legendary doesn't come in to the game broken but from what I've seen it's gonna be about were zacian is right now. By the way love your vids Chris been watching for like 8 months now. 👍😊

Getting 1 "free" basic every 10 seconds out of combat seems really weak. One minute of spamming it and you won't even have mega. Teleport's bonus to pressure seems much more impactful.

I think its moves can be used in such a way (and with rfs) that it can play a lot similar to glaceon specifically, and i see some similarities (more so than other attackers) as well. This will be interesting, and I definitely will try mewtwo y as opposed to mewtwo x (cheat code)

recover could cap out the mega gauge in 1 press & teleport will STILL be the mandatory pick. the range, buffs provided, & juke potential are way way *way* too good to pass up.

I think is because of the type of Pokémon, we have and had OP attackers but in solo Q you can blow them up and get rid of them, All-Rounders can take more hits, and if the team has a healer they can be plain unfair.

Mewtwo y scares me a lot more than mewtwo x as you can just kite enemy to mega evolve and even if can jump on it it can just push you away or become unstoppable. At the very least with mew2 x you need to take a risk of diving in.

X easily counters Y though. The double teleport doesn't mean anything with future sight and X can crit it out of existence. If you're going Future Sight on Y, then you've gotta wait until it's Full Heal is down after going Mega X else you've wasted your safety option. Only after that, does Y counter X unless Y is absurdly broken on release.

The way even in a meme build Drain Crown wouldn't do anything since it only procs off of physical damage basic attacks and Mewtwo's deal SpAtk damage

The thing is though, even if it's a top tier threat, it'll be picked less than X if it's any weaker than it. So either people won't buy Y since X is the better investment or they'll need to make it so absurdly broken that people are forced to buy it to have a chance at winning. The damage you see on psystrike will triple on release, at minimum due to a "bug" that needs to be "fixed."

That's a training mode bug. I think it's if you reset your level, you keep the bonus from scarf if it was reset while scarf was active. Either way, not a real game bug. Yet.

Mewtwo x is byfar the most unrewarding mon I have played, even if winning the game with 15+ kills still feels empty for me, it takes less skill to carry, less effort to deal 100k dmg but not when I play mew, win or lose, dealing 90k+ dmg, even with only 5 kills but with 10+ assists feels very rewarding. The effort and skill I need to pull off 90k+ dmg for mew is so high that when I play mewtwo can easily do with less effort. Sad realization really.

To all the people complaining just wait till blaziken comes and becomes the must have pick. Powercreep has been a problem that started around sylveon release and hardly any of you complained. This is the consequence to not realizing sooner how the game was heading. A lot of the new mons invalidate and replace older ones too. Intellion invalidates greninja and decidueye, Urshifu invalidates lucario, Leafeon is pretty much absol 2.0 but good, Glaceon is better cinderace, Mewtwo X is better charizard. Give enough time and all the old mons will be completely invalidated. Mimikyu Surf reset gimmick but better perhaps? Would be cool plus at this point we have crossed a line that never should have been and can never go back and if we want to have fun we just have to accept the game is p2w sooner nowadays. Also anyone taht owns X which everyone should now well Y can be obtained for free right away tomorrow.

hi cris, can you explain about wicked blow unite trick? I can't always make enemy knocked up and it make target pushed away from you. i know you can't make direction while using unite but its frustrating when it happen while you are in battle. Thank you.

You push in the direction you're holding on the stick. If you want to knock up instead, you have to stop holding a direction.
