Even though I was hoping that he'd play a bigger role in the crossover, seeing the Clark of my childhood one more time was really great. Even if it was just for a few minutes. Also, schooling Alan on what a bad Lex he is was arguably the greatest moment in tv history.

I just love how indignant he gets over him choosing to be powerless. He vilifies for his powers in multiple mediums, saying that it makes a mockery of how great a hard working and gifted human can be. And now that he’s faced with a superman who just chose to have a normal life, he just acts like a child that doesn’t k ow how to feel. It’s rather funny that he simultaneously hates him for his power and acts like only an idiot would choose not to have them

Not necessarily. This reality had tons of heroes. Also, this fits thematically. Christopher Reeves Superman de-powered himself to live a normal life, and it didn't work. I love the idea that on at least one reality, Superman got to take off his cape and just be a husband and father.

Superman giving up his powers for just being Human (mortal?) is the coolest thing so he could just be the way as he is and not the way he was supposed/everybody expected him to be. To live a normal life (anonymous, private) as a human Clark Kent and not as Kal-El is the most sane, rational thing to do, so why assume a persona from a planet that is already long gone (Krypton). I mean, he just moved on, as everybody does, not to be stuck in the past (nostalgia) that would not really help at all. That's the power of love. 💟

I like how they show Clark could've just casually beaten Lex Luthor, and chose not to. Without his powers. Like, it wouldn't even have been close.

Do me a favor and analyze/watch this clip from 3:36 - 3:38.That Scene with Clark looking at the distance have you ever seen it because I saw this exact clip on HBO Max and this video that is old and never seen that clip in my life.Was wondering if it is Mandela effect.Anyways someone reply back to me,would love to here from you smallville fans that have seen this episode many times like I have.

@@anthonyanguiano5348 On second thought you are right. Laura Vandervoort were then a waste. She is so much better. She was, is and ever will be the best Kara Zor-el/Supergirl of all time. I wish she is it again in Man of Steel 2 or in the Supergirl movie Kara Zor-el/Supergirl.

@@anthonyanguiano5348 I disagree with you. The Kara Zor-el /Supergirl by Melissa Benoist is defently NOT RUNNING IN THE Supergirl arc. The basic is alrady wrong. That makes the whole show totally wrong. Laura Vandervoort´s run into the Supergirl /Kara Zor-el arc. She has also another thing in advantige. She has the second degree black belt in karate whith means she can fight in real and in show´s. Laura looks more interesting and hotter. Laura Vandervoort is the best Kara Zor-el/Supergirl there was, is and ever will be. Even Melissa can´t hold up to her.

I saw season 1 of Supergirl and I really liked it. I thought Melissa Benoist was relatable as Supergirl. I thought the characters were interesting and overall very good season. Laura Vandervoort while not bad was totally wasted on Smallville. They hardly did anything with her.

As somebody who loved the early seasons on Smallville, its kinda sad to see Clark and Lex be so hateful towards each other. I mean get thats how it goes in every version of Superman, but there was aomething about their freindship in the early seasons that was really special
