I hated Superman III because Richard Pryor's character and SL messed it up for me.The fight between Clark and Superman saved it for me.I at least like Superman IV because it brought back Chris Reeve&Gene Hackman one last time as Clark/Superman& Lex Luthor, and Jon Cryer as Lenny Luthor ,Lena's son..Lex's nephew.

So glad you both like the snacks and encyclopedias. But as for crisis.I spent the last two days and three shows in shock, crying, and fangirling. I loved when Brandon as Clark met E-38 Lois and Clark and Iris a mix of Can You Read My Mind that was Chris Reeve's Superman and Margot Kidder's Lois theme and John Williams' Superman theme played before John Williams' theme played especially during the supermen fight..Kevin finally doing a live action Bruce was so great also. But him dying had me sobbing. Then Black Lightning had me shocked and crying..I got to get ready for The Flash tonight..I'm drained.. I can't believe it's just Tuesday.. I swore I thought it was Thursday at least.

Superman's Earth 96 is a reference to the year the book Kingdom Come came out (his costume and recent backstory is based on it). However he's canonnically the Christopher Reeve Superman, even references events from the older movies (fighting evil version of himself and classic theme).

Thank y'all for not losing your shit at seeing a Bruce Wayne who's finally had that "one bad day." So many people getting triggered by that, instead of seeing how cool of an option it is for an alternate Earth, especially considering CW can't actually use the Batman character. I do wish he'd put up a little more of a fight, but it makes sense that he couldn't do much there.

I love that Lamonica is playing both roles also that the makeup department did such a great job with the comic book accuracy of the Anti-Monitor face but he really need to put the helmet back on tho because in Darkseid War he looked the same when he removed the face mask and I see why he wore it cuz he needed to be slapped for taking it off.

Brandon Routh's Superman is The Same as Superman Returns. He's in Earth 96 because the Kingdom Come Comic came out in 1996. He also says that Jonathan looks like his son Jason the same name from Superman Returns.

Gotta say, Conroy killed it as a sinister, dark Batman. And Tom Welling never wanted to wear the suit. He always wanted to play Clark, not Superman. It's always been his choice that kept Superman from showing up proper in Smallville.

Besides, he came back to play in Lucifer, and knocked it out of the park. So clearly, it was his choice and not a lack of talent. That was a pretty pathetic attempt at a diss. What's next? First off clearly he has been superman when there were multiple papers saying superman saves the day etc. Him giving up his powers to have a family was even more trash and crapped on smallville based on the fact he tried that multiple times on smallville and it had lots of bad repercussions for it. He even on the last season spent all of the season finally realizing his destiny but you telling me he see people on tv or hear about stuff all the time and he now content with chilling on his farm. Lol....ok he have up his powers to be with lana but as soon as something happened and he didnt have powers his was the first one to run in and save the day. He lost his powers multiple times but still was the first to run towards the fight. That's trash and they crapped all over it or basically he did.

@@bcandydrews859 Okay, Captain Run-on. First off, Clark saved the world. And he's not the only super in Smallville. There was an entire group of heroes before he even came to Earth. He left the hero life because he knew others had it covered. Second, Tom Welling ALWAYS wanted Smallville to be about Clark, not Superman. That's what drew him to the show. Every other show emphasized Superman and ignored Clark. Third, shut the fuck up. The writers aren't beholden to some whiny asshole on the internet who doesn't understand basic sentence structure.

Smallville being on Earth-167 is a reference to the comic World's Finest #167 volume 1. In that story Kal-El is rendered powerless by Gold Kryptonite before arriving on Earth. And Lex Luthor gains Superpowers through a formula designed by him. He eventually becomes Superman and Clark eventually becomes Batman. They seemingly chose this designation for Smallville's Earth because Lex and Clark are close friends in that comic, The same way Clark and Lex were close friends on the show.

Kevin Conroy was the best Batman/Superhero and was excited as hell for himbut became a fan of Ray Palmer and Brandon Routh's Superman immediately became my favorite thing. Till I seen Jefferson Peirce popping up later on in the third part.
