Crispy Egg Fingers is a crispy and deep-fried #SnackRecipe. In this #CrispyEggFinger recipe eggs are steamed along with red chilli powder, onion, jalapeno and fried by coating the steamed eggs with maida, milk and breadcrumbs. Crispy Egg Fingers Recipe:
Egg - 5 nos
Salt - ¼ tsp
Red Chilli Powder - ½ tsp
Black Pepper Powder - ½ tsp
Onion (finely chopped) - 1 no
Jalapeno (finely chopped) - 1 tbsp
For Coating:
Maida (All Purpose Flour) - ½ Cup
Milk - ¼ Cup
Egg - 1 no
Bread Crumbs - 1 Cup
Cooking Instructions:
1. In a bowl beat 5 eggs, add the salt, red chilli powder, black pepper powder.
2. To the egg mixture add finely chopped onion and jalapeno.
3. Pour the egg mixture into a greased pan and steam until firm, for 12 minutes.
4. De-mould the eggs and cut into fingers/ large batons.
5. In a bowl combine 1 egg and milk.
6. In two separate bowls, place flour and breadcrumbs.
7. For crumbing: dust the egg fingers in flour and then place in the egg mixture, drain the excess and then coat with breadcrumbs evenly. Repeat for all the egg fingers.
8. Deep fry until golden brown and crispy.
Cooking Tips:
1. Coat evenly before frying, double coat in breadcrumbs if necessary.
