To keep the crispiness of the potatoes after frying for a long time, put them in the refrigerator for 3 hours. The refrigerator will drain the water in your potatoes. When the oil is hot, immediately take the potatoes out of the refrigerator and fry them because If you leave it outside for a long time, it will accumulate water and become soft after frying

Whenever my dad buys raw fries I fry them immediately even when they're cold. It always makes them crispy even after the fries cooled down. Nice tip!

@@kazu52508 After boiling the potatoes for 5 minutes, drain the potatoes and mix with cornstarch, then refrigerate. When you put the potatoes in the fridge, you only need to fry them once until the potatoes are yellow. You can make up to 4 meals of potatoes at once, wrap in cling film and refrigerate, each meal you only need to take out and fry once.

@@kazu52508 I forgot one thing, the potatoes are put in the fridge for about 3-4 hours, then cover the potatoes with food film, if you wrap them right after you put them in, you will have to wait 1 day.

I bought this air fryer Sept 2023 and started using it right away, with trepidation at first, having never owned one before kzfaq.infoUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB . But I started trying the different settings and yes, I burned a few things at first until I got the hang of it, and have loved using it ever since I got it. For a single person, cooking smaller-scale meals is great while avoiding heating up a whole oven. The only downside to this air fryer is that the buttons are finicky since they're touch-based and the sensors are weird. I'd buy this thing again if I needed to, but at this point (if I don't jinx myself) I won't have to for a while to come.

I wanted some homemade crispy french fries to go with my spicy sweet chili wings, and I must say they turned out great! Putting the salt in the water helped season the fries inside, so I didn't really need any other seasoning on them. They were soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. I recommend using this recipe if you want some good homemade crispy fries ❤ 👏

finally made this today with my bf after seeing this video last year!! took us awhile (more than 1 hour whoops) but turned out so crispy!! and crunchy!! will def be remaking the cheese sauce again for other dishes tho, it's insanely good 😌

All that stuff taste horrible on chips except paprika. Chicken salt (a good one) is best on chips followed by salt, followed by salt vinegar. - Selling hot chips n gravy for 4 years

Simplified version 1. cut 2 -3 potatoes 2. soak in bowl of water for 25 min 3. strain and wash potatoes a few more times 4. turn on a pot and put some water with a pinch of salt, then add your fries 5. boil for 5 min 6.strain the potatoes after boiling 7. put potatoes in bowl and put 20g of cornstarch and shake 8. turn on a pan and put a generous amount of oil 9. then put your fries on medium high heat for 5-8 min 10. let them cool Sauce: 1. boil some butter 2. add 2g flour 3. 1/4 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp chili powder 4. 100 ml of unsweetened milk (quick) 5. add dash of pepper 6. 70g of cheddar cheese 7. 10g sugar and mix - (Also boil on low heat) 8. fry the fries for 4-6 min
