I'm digging your kosher salt addition to this recipe! I can't get my smoked lemon peppers to match the zing of Wing Stop. I will try it this this weekend.

I typically don't use lemon pepper on anything, but fish. Looks worth trying though.

Another great cook. I love wings and cook them on my 22" Weber Kettle with the Vortex accessory. They usually only take about 40 minutes and no flipping needed. Do you have the Vortex for your 22" Performer?

Wayne Dimirsky Hey Wayne, I haven’t purchased the vortex yet but have seen nothing but awesome reviews on the product. Running out room for Bbq toys 😬. Thanks for checking out the video. Enjoy the holiday.
@Mr2004MCSS5 жыл бұрын
@@DskiGrillz Thanks, you too. I just leave my Vortex inside my kettle and put it to the side if I'm not using it during a cook. It is really a great accessory.

@@Mr2004MCSS Ok Wayne!!! It's all your fault...lol, I just purchased a vortex!!! It should arrive some time this week. If I never post another video it's because my wife killed me...lol. I'm looking forward to posting another chicken wing cook right away using the vortex. Thanks for the feedback Sir.
@Mr2004MCSS5 жыл бұрын
@@DskiGrillz Well, I take all of the blame. I hope she doesn't kill you, we need more videos. LOL You will love the Vortex, it is the only way I cook wings anymore. I have also turned the Vortex where the wide end was facing up and put coals all around it and made a beer can chicken with the chicken in the middle of the Vortex. It will also put a great sear on steaks if you put them over the Vortex when the coals are inside it. I'm looking forward to your cook with the vortex and what you think of the Vortex. I usually use my Gourmet Weber grate with the middle removed to cook my wings just so I don't warp the middle of the regular grate over time.

Probably the grill, I didn't oil my grill grate and pieces got stuck. My grill grate is cast iron

Wings looking nice, word of advice you should probably scrape off the inside of your grill's lid, it seems to be peeling/chipping not sure if it's built on residue but you dont want it to be something else and you dont need that falling into your food.
@rscholey855 жыл бұрын
aubert bethencourt do you even BBQ 😂 you will never get all the black off won't do you any harm wouldn't eat it by the spoon full but can't say Iv ever cleaned it 😂
@aubertbethencourt32415 жыл бұрын
@@rscholey85 yes I bbq, grill, smoke and roast for years. Now you can get it off just like you fire up the grill clean it before you actually cook you can do it to all the surface. It's not harmful what do you know let's say it's some chipping aluminum or paint sealer then what, if its food residue cool. Another thing is I wasnt saying it to be negative just looking out especially if he has kids or just making videos for the public. Also don't you think it falling into your food time after time is the same as you eating a spoon full, he knew where I was coming from, cant be too careful these days.

Young widowed mom here trying to grill lemon pepper wings. Was pretty confident- I have all the ingredients - but then you're putting diffusers and foil pans and apple wood and all this stuff I don't have a d never heard of and its like a college science project and I just came to class with a notebook and a #2 pencil.😞 All I have is some charcoal, some fluid, a charcoal grill and a match. Hope thats enough, damn
@DskiGrillz4 жыл бұрын
ennoidyam I promise that’s enough. If you want to drop some wood chunks on top of your coals during the cooking process you will elevate the flavor. Put your pencil up (smile). Thanks for checking out the video.

Good information and the wings looked great. Just some constructive criticism here...your “thumbs up” action wasn’t needed. Ditch that but keep the videos coming.

What is ur background to assume that ur “constructive criticism” is valid? Just like referees and commentators have their “thing” why is it a bad thing? Humble urself....

Hi Daniel, Thanks for the encouraging words about the sound quality. I do know my previous videos were voice overs but this one and all subsequent videos have been live. I will definitely look into the voice quality. The reply you made about money, I wish were the case. Just working hard daily with my wife trying to enjoy family and life. Hopefully you are doing the same..take care
