That 3 in the back from Martinez was atrocious. If I was coach I’d start felix at cf never left wing. The problem with Portugal is we have guys like Bernardo Silva who are too good to start but where you put him? Cm he’s too small and rw he’s too slow. He plays for man city surrounded by world class players he shines because his ball control and technique are second to none. He also has one of the fastest rb in the world overlapping. Portugal we have Dalot, who I believe has the makings of a great player but his decision making is very poor and he never runs 1v1 cause he’s scared of making mistakes. (This what happens playing for toxic Man U) and finally our self proclaimed “main man” Bruno Fernandes who I believe can strike and kick a ball like the best. But players like Odegaard, modric, Musiala, Bellingham and more leave him in the dust with the ball at their feet, he can’t make anything happen unless he’s heaving the ball in the box or banging a long ball out of defense. I remember feeling like Portugal always had a chance when Ronaldo was young even on a less talented team. Now I believe we have even less of a chance with a more talented all around team. Goes to show how powerful he was and today how ungrateful and selfish most of these players are.

Once Ronaldo is out, we can play 433: Costa, Cancelo/Dalot, Dias/Silva, Danilo/Inácio, Guerreiro/Mendes, Palhinha/RNeves, Vitinha/Octávio/MNunes, Bruno/Pote, Bernardo/Horta, Leão/Jota/Felix, Ramos/Beto. Ronaldo was worth having to sacrifice defending with 11. His output for 16 years was amazing. Out of respect we are going for these Euros with him in the 11, as a captain. Our chances are Slim to none.

@@lilfonzy101 who is the 19 year old you are talking about, but honestly one thing Martinez needs to understand is that for Cristiano to play his best he needs to be comfortable and that means him playing a bit more on the left while having a partnership with a cf. Imo him playing alongside Jota would be the best and will instantly make Portugals attack a million time more threatening with that duo, Jota is a very smart player who knows when to pass, is extremely efficient, gives defenders another player to worry about aerially and also runs a lot which allows Ronaldo to breathe more. I fully agree with what you said about the other players and how guys like bruno, dalot and all are not gonna mesh especially with Ronaldo cause hell in all my time watching portugal play I have never seen Dalot complete a single cross.

People will be envy of c Ronaldo for being older then everyone and still schooling everyone!! You don’t know football no liltle 18-24 year old can keep the ball or make the plays like him !! His body is still capable to play for the next 10 years if he works hard to keep increasing his intensity workouts… look at sir Mathew’s who won the first ballon d oro he played till he was 50 and regrets not playing till 52 years old.. why u hating on a player who is pure quality as a human being! He is one of the greatest of all time and has much more to show us how it is to be strong!! C Ronaldo is a beast and no one has the right to say anything even the previous professional soccer player have no right to talk for him or Messi!

how can you say that!!! It just shows how much you really hate the guy. This is the perfect way to show you. You do know that every goal comes from someone loosing a balll...right? This ball was lost near Slovenia's last third...they passed the ball 5 or 6 times before scoring and all the defensive midfielders and defenders did terrible in both goals. Dalot and Cancelo were terrible that night.
