please for the love of everything good in the world please just keep making more tutorials! I can honestly say i've watched over 30 other youtube channels trying to find someone who teaches the way you do and you have been the only person i've found that I am able to follow along with and learn from!! You sir are the best!! I completed my first ever Ps edit by watching this video maybe 5 times through by pausing and playing... pausing and playing... attempting...failing.... attempting again and again but I now have my first completed Ps edit and im beyond stoked with how well it came out!!! @@mohamed1724 the only thing I can think of is perhaps you're glowing the entire layer which would explain the rectangle (which is the outer rim of the layer). To solve this make sure you've selected the object you want to glow, and have it separate from it's original layer. This will ensure it is the only object being "glowed"

let me give you a useful tip, when you refined the mask around the horns you should've put the brush on overlay blending mode because it won['t affect the totally white areas

Hi Cristi and everyone! I have a little problem with this glow effect: after pressing Ctrl+Shift+Alt+E glow turned into a square. I think it's connected with Gaussian blur, because I found the same problem in some videos, but I didn't understand how to fix it. Can you help me?

This looks really nice, something I really want to learn to do in PS. I really wish I could understand all the different things you're doing with the masks, inverting and clipping, etc. I feel this is an advanced tutorial, sadly I'm realatively new at photoshop. 😒

Best advice, just start small. Find something that really drives you to learn Ps. Practice daily. It's a learning curve, everyone started the same spot as you. I began my Ps journey over a month ago, and I've completely changed my art in just 45 days of consistent practice. It works.

I reached the part where you copy the hue/saturation layer so as to make it look like the horns are emitting light,,, but,, for some reason the brush tool makes no change at all, nothing changes around the horns or elsewhere. i did press cntr+i,,. do u have any idea of what could be the reason?
