Considering that Matt admitted that Alien was the inspiration for the shade creepers, the Shade Mother looking like a Xenomorph Queen doesn't surprise me.

Oh snap. What if this scene is why FCG is having technical difficulties? He's designed to be a healer, and something he did caused someone to be hurt. That deflection he just did accusing the shade creeper, what if he did the same thing to blame some random one-eyed creature as the cause, because he was incapable of accepting that he was the root cause of what killed Dancer and Crew? (even if indirectly) He had the same type of errors crop up when he tries to remember what happened to Dancer and Crew.

If this is the direction he is planning on going with FCG, it's extra interesting because he keeps saying he doesn't have a soul, but everyone is saying he has to have a soul because he feels empathy and stuff.. (and magical soul needing things work on him) but if he did kill them, then he'd be considered "souless" for doing it.. (if it wasn't out of some sort of defense) That's an interesting dilemma.
