in almost every fight at least two of them have mechanically been on the verge of losing it, and each of them have done so at least twice. Delilah has constantly been gaining more influence over Laudna. Laura keeps having these thoughts about wanting to go bad and both Fern and Ashton have almost killed others or themselves with their traumas and personalities. What do you mean by "the most slept on aspect of this campaign"?

I think about it every time we learn more about their backstories. I mean, hell, thinking about if the Sorrowlord Zathuda was to have raised Fearne into a Zathuda??? How much fucking damage could she have done!? Nah, I like it. This is a good season, and I think it's not lost on people that their characters aren't exactly the heroes. They keep insisting they are, but then they go and do some seriously fucked up shit, because they're not actually above their petty, villainous lesser behavior. They're just trying their best to do good, despite it. And that's a candle that's getting burnt at both ends. I can see a Civil War aspect happening, not necessarily between those saving or deserting the gods, but definitely over something. . . And it will be because someone went too far. Crossed a line that turned them from heroic assholes to terrorists. Honestly, I can see it being either Ashton, Laudna or Orym, and maybe even Chetney and Fearne, though they'd probably be on the opposing side. But everyone will have compelling points and feel validated because "we're the heroes and they're the bad guys" but it won't be so black and white.

This aspect has personally been a bit exhausting to me, though I don’t think it’s bad or anything. More of a personal taste thing. At this point the constant emphasis on how everyone but chetney seemingly is a powder keg ready to blow is getting tiring to me, and I’m not a fan of a ton of angst, so I’ve drifted a bit away from the more recent episodes, since it’s just a lot of angst and almost misery. Granted, the situation certainly calls for it and it’s appropriate for where they are and what’s happened, but I’ve definitely needed to take a step back because it’s just so prevalent that it’s exhausting. Still, they seem to absolutely eat it all up, so I’m glad for them loving their game and characters to bits

It would truly be something if they had the first party in the main campaign become evil.

I watched the ep live and the chat lost their shit for no reason. Like, everyone forgets it's a game with mature players who know the difference? Conflict IS what's interesting. Marisha playing Laudna to gaslight and steal from Orym shows that Deliliah is getting to Laudna, to the point that she'd betray her friends. It's a callback to how Percy didn't want to resurrect Laudna on the off chance that she'd bring Delilah back with her. But it never makes sense to me how people are like "OMG your party can't fight!" Says who? "The players hate each other!" What?

@@coyoteclockworkstudios3140 exactly, they are a family outside the game and in, they are playing a game to have fun and create a thrilling narrative for the audiences of thousands upon thousands of fans each week, they can play their characters however they want having the Anakin and Obi-wan moment on the banks of the lava river screaming “I hate you!” and tearfully saying “you were my brother Anakin, I loved you.” and as soon as the cameras stop rolling they are like “omg that was so good!” Or “that was so intense, I had you!” And be just fine, it’s just a game and they are going to play however they want, people need to understand that, I love the cooldown show they’ve started on beacon cause it gives us an after show to watch and see those moments now

@@azreon25yeah man! The cast can play their characters however the hell they want without any scrutiny (at least in a perfect world there’s no scrutiny) and they are such a family I’m sure that there’s no actual conflict between the players. I’m also glad that they have the Cooldown series, I started watching the newest episode’s Cooldown episode and they’ve gushed about the session!

Also they love their craft to which is acting and it shows. You can tell with each and every episode, they put their hearts into it. This is fun for them. Just like me, finding news ways and just playing Minecraft. What Marisha first said in the after episode reaction had me on the floor laughing.

@@mjphyil I liked FCG's sacrifice, Sam knows how to hit you in the feels. I hope his next character is just as charming and caring. I like Aabria, but I didn't watch those sessions because I didn't know much about the Crown Keepers besides Dorian... I'm so glad he's back with the group

The party asked essek about that and he said he doubted that was the case, tho they might b similar entities. Just diferent motives and goals. But who knows, they; all the gods, the luxon, and the god eater might all b the same species of deity-like beings. I, for one, cannot wait to find out. 🎉🎉😮

Nah. She lied to Laudna. Delilah has an agenda and it requires consuming souls/magic. She wanted Laudna to consume the sword. Delilah will say anything to get the power she needs for whatever purpose she has, to Laudna's expense most likely.

@@Roughknight01 She never lied. She said it "may" be corrupted. And she can only know for sure if she holds it. And Laudna asked is it after she got it, and Delilah just said it needs to be destroyed. She never once lied to Laudna.

I think the character dynamics are just different. With the same character dynamics as C2 we would never get a session like this. This works because they aren't as close or sure as the M9. They haven't worked out all their issues with each other. And they hide and keep those to themselves.

​@@RexZor76I really like how C2 and C3 are opposites in character relationships - C2 started closed off and ended very close with each other, while C3 started more open with each other, and over time kept more and more secrets from each other - it shows that the MN way was better for the characters' relationships than BH

This happens everytime there is a player death, they usually are out for 2 or 3 episodes as they create the new character and matt trys to find the best point to introduce them.

That’s a possibility by probably not, I think. Tharizdun was labeled as one of the Betrayer Gods if I’m not wrong, while Predathos is the eater of gods. Also, I think the Predathos was sealed in Ruidus even before the Calamity

@@someusername9591 predathos is not of the pantheons, and chased the divines TO exandria, they sealed it in ruidus to save their lives, then the schism (prime v betrayer gods) happened, then the calamity hit generations after and thus did the divine gate come into being by the prime deities' hands, using the same type of energy they used for the ruidus containment rough memory of the timeline, it's been whiiiille

That's such a horrible interpretation of what's happening lmao Orym spurred her on to kill Bor'Dor, knew it would give Delilah more power and watched it happen, not doing or saying anything about it. Then Laudna literally interrupted Orym as he was about to leave outside with the blade, to tell him he was carrying Otohan's blade and that it's ''bigger than him''. Liam literally said ''I hear that and leave''. You need to understand it's not just Laudna, Delilah has moments where she takes over. Laudna is right she didn't lie, she didn't. Delilah did. I don't know how you can't see that.

@IcarusNadir I see it but she's also purposely lied about how much influence Delilah really has to the party and even Imogen who she's "never lied to". She's constantly messing with the party whether it'd because of Delilah or not it doesnt excuse it, idk how you can't see that

If you says it's Delilah and not laudna thats cool, but as a member of bell's hells she's needs to be actively doing something to not let Delilah keep fucking with stuff, i will say I've never really liked laudna as a character so I will admit I'm biased lol

The main problem for the party, i think, is not that Laudna wanted to absorb the magic of the sword, but how she tried to do it. By stealing it and not telling anyone about it, it just shows, that she does not want the others to know ... to realize that its for Delilah. And even after the party confirmed, that the sword is just a sword, Laudna still insisted on it being evil and cursed, without any evidence. As for Orym being upset. For him it was just a tool. Something he could use. And he did gave it up, offered it up to anyone. He just didn't like Laudna's method of trying to steal it and absorbing it without telling anyone.

stop bringing up that it was used to kill Laudna that’s a moot point it was used to kill Orym’s family & himself ie Orym has lost more to that sword than Laudna literally.

@@ErestorT89 Firstly thank you for responding calmly and rationally everyone usually overreacting when an unpopular opinion is said. What's going through MY mind is that the sword IS cursed and Orym is already possessed by it. Like Nott in Campaign 2 with the cursed dagger. Grim psychometry only tells about the items past and it could have things about it hidden until you attune to it. I FOR SURE think that Matt is building up Delilah's power and for every item she absorbs she gets stronger and each item is going to be added to what she can do/unlock a new ability. Its also worth mentioning that this isn't the first time the party has chosen Orym over her. I think Delilah's power isn't just from absorbing magic items but also from people in her cutting ties with her so all she has left to turn to is her.
