This is the footage of the Critical Role panel with Matthew Mercer, Laura Bailey, Travis Willingham and Marisha Ray from Friday, 5th of August, 2016 at GenCon, Indianapolis.
Thanks a lot to @lukthomas1 for filming this panel.
The low quality is because of periscope/mobile phone filming
PS: we have some backlog so we apologize for the time it took to upload these videos

Vox Machinos: With a different marshmallow shape for each character. Blue sparkly shits for Scanlan, Bear shapes for Vex, a gun for Percy, etc.

Sorry about the quality issues. The original file was not saved so this had to be re recorded from the periscope stream. I was not aware we were going to need this for later or I would have brought something better. It was a great panel and so much fun to be there in person. For those who can understand the audio I hope you enjoy.

Start on yogscast's highrollers. It isn't with a bunch of actors, but humes is a good DM, and the players are pretty damn good as well. Certainly entertaining. I just started rewatching critrole from the beginning.

thank you for posting this! I didn't have a problem with the audio and the video when minimized is not bad at all. Ignore the complaints and keep up the great work. I don't have a chance of making it to a con that the members from critical role would be at, so I appreciate the chance to see them.

+BiggySn1p3r we're pretty sure there's nobody else. Our people had issues with their camera so this is already backup footage. Which explains the difference in quality with the other panels from this con

I'll see what I can do when I get home tonight to rip the audio and fix it as best I can with EQ and compression - if I get any kind of good results I'll send it over to Critical Scope!

Laura is goals for me. She's such a wonderful person. Her Husband is Travis and he's freaking awesome. I just hope I'm lucky enough to find such a great guy, and be so child like but such a cool woman at the same time!

I think I'm Shipping Up to Boston is an amazing theme song for Grog when he starts busting skulls. And I love the contrast of Strawberry Fields Forever with Keyleth raining nature's destruction with Call Lightning, Ice Storm, Insect Plague, Sunbeam, Firestorm, etc. Keyleth is naturally non violent, but finds herself in a violent world and a violent life. The song strongly hints at Keyleth dissociating from the violence to keep her sanity. (this is early days Keyleth, her character changes)

I love watching panels but I wish there was a way to get decent audio from the recordings. They are so quiet you have to jack up the volume super high to understand them, then when the audience laughs it deafens you and blows out your speakers. So immensely frustrating.

Something is excessively amplifying the bass in the recording. May I recommend a high pass filter? I put a 300Hz with 24dB/octive roll off in Audacity and sounds so much clearer.

I'm happy this is posted, but sad that the majority of the audio is far too garbled to parse out, unintelligible. That's the risk of video & audio recording on a smartphone or tablet versus a dedicated camera setup. Their built in mics are ill-suited to recording amplified audio.

Is it youtube acting like that weird cousin again or something wrong with the actual video? Why do qualities up from 144p to 720p all look like porridge?

+Shadow Benny the original footage was shot by periscope from a cell phone. The quality is not as good as if shot with proper material. The reason why it's 720 is because we have our templates set for 720p and 1080p, so it will render in 720p no matter what. Regardless of quality, we are happy they recorded it anyway :-) We try to find people with good cameras but that's not always possible
