I actually used to do stuff like this when I was learning 2-look OLL. If I didn't know the algorithm I would do a different one until I got one I knew. Sune was my best friend back then.

This kinda actually works if you misplace two cross edges when you get to PLL you can choose between 2 PLL's.

I prefer the method ZZeroing used by Zzemdegs. You solve a 2x3x2 block and last layer at once

I used the "turning F-perm into J-perm, or G-perm into A-perm" using F2 U M' U2 M U F2 when I was a beginner.

But seriously, we could just use the term Zeroing as a fancier, more impressive way of saying "solving". Think about it, if we assume the solved state is the Zero position, then solving is... "Zeroing in".

For F perm you could just as well do M2 U2 M2 U2, then do D S2, then do T perm: (R U R' U') (R' F' R2 U') (R' U' R U) R' F', then do S2 D'

Nope. Zeroing is a common meme of Feliks and I remember mentioning in my previous "What can we learn from Feliks" I said that his "zeroing game is too strong". This video is kind of like a follow up xD haha
